Does meal timing matter?

Oatmeal isn't really a significant protein source on its own. Neither is cereal. Basically I would eat as many times as your comfortable. The point I'm trying to make is don't feel forced to eat 8x a day or once a day. Eat when is convenient for you and in a manner that gives you the best gym performance. It varies highly from person to person. What works for me probably won't work for you type of deal.
Protein cereal special K I get 60 g of protein a bowl, with fair life milk. Oatmeal protein is 20 g and mucho carbs. Just saying. But agree with the beginning of your post.

No one is disagreeing to agree with anything here
We are all family and we don't like rules!!

OK nighty night :)

Also I would say speed of glycogen replenishment matters so your body can just start hlealing itself that little bit faster.

1) replenishing glycogen doesn't mean your body has healed.
2) a typical weight training session will only deplete glycogen around 30-40%. Not completely use it up.
3) there's no need to replenish it quickly unless you plan on working the same muscle group later that day or have multiple endurance type activities in a single day n

Never tried that cereal or looked at its label but goddam that's a lot of protein for a cereal lol.

My experience from working out for years and logging all my workouts tells me MY BODY does A LOT better having at least 5 meals a day, 4 if doing a big cut. Also I hardly ever, maybe once or twice a year, workout without a shake of 50g of whey, 50g of carbs, and 20g of fat (coconut).

I don't mean "healed" I mean more along the lines of rejuvinated. I definatly feel better when eating after a workout, also.

Then if you feel better by all means eat lol. That's been my whole point from the beginning. Meal timing is so highly individualistic that it's impossible to come up with a generalization to suit most. It is important but it's only important to that person. We can't say training wih food in your stomach is best bc some people train best while fasted is one example n

I do like the fair life chocolate milk. Shit tastes so good. Stew Leonard's chocolate milk is the only one I've found better but the fsirlife one is expensive as fuck in my area

It costs a ton here, too. I can't justify paying almost $5 for 50oz or whatever it comes in when regular milk is $2 a gallon.

Lifting right before eating isn't good. Your body is trying to get nutrients from the stomach by your blood,. Which takes away the blood from the muscle. So then your muscle doesn't get all the blood it should. Also this causes dizziness and vomiting.

I can and have eaten 2500cals minutes before training. I can and have trained in an overnight fast. I prefer the former even though both are fine for me. Don't buy into that BS about blood and whatnot. Eat when you want to
