Favorite video games when you were a kid

I still think Goldeneye and mariokart are the best multiplayers ever. I think goldeneye might be the reason Ive only been to jail and never worse. When I was younger and me and my friends would get fucked up and get ready to go act crazy (steal cars, or worse) someone would suggest Goldeneye and we'd play it all night instead

I've played a lot of Goldeneye under the influence of various substances. SSX snowboarding on PS2 was another I'd get high and play for hours. I got obsessed with a perfect run on this level inside a pinball machine.

I never played a lot of Mario Cart, I always preferred more realistic street racing. Except Rock 'N' Roll Racing, loved that one.

Mario Kart was just fun because of the fuck with people factor. Being able to shoot people or run them over.

They actually made a driving arcade game of it. I took my ex and her girls to Dave and Busters and we played it once. It wasnt bad.

Yeah, nice and simple anyone can pick up and play in a group setting. One of my buddies has every level memorized and hurts feelings when he plays other people. I've actually played it plenty, just never got on any next level action with it like I did some games.

I was like that with SSX, NBA Street and Ballers and Tekken. I just played so much I was a machine.

I forgot about that. I was in Tekken hard in the arcade. When Tekken 2 came out for playstation it took over for golden eye. We used to play that for hours on hours.

Tecmo Super Bowl for like 10 hours a day on the weekends

I played that a little. Ever play Base Warz? Baseball with fighting robots.

Same. I had all the characters unlocked and played constantly.

Here's another good one, anybody play Riddock Bowe Boxing on SNES? Loved that one.

For me I started in the sega master system- the 2 games I really remember are thunder blade and space harrier. Those were badass.

I think I've had almost every system ever at some point in my life.

Side note if you love classic games- pick yourself up a used psp. They are moddable with only software and you can load all sorts of emulators and roms to them. You can pick one up for like 50 bucks.

I have the NES emulator on my phone. Have roms for just about every game NES ever made.

Its a little diifficult to play with touch screen and im not hardcore enough for a controller

I had this system called the Action Max back in the 80's, anybody have this one?

The games were VHS tapes and your score was tallied by that sensor while the tape played.

For you rpg guys has anyone played xenosaga (the first one) on ps2? I'm an rpg maniac and that was one of my favorites.

Final fantasy 7 final fantasy 10 and xenogears are probably my 3 all time favorites.
