Disclaimer: long post, girly health topics, lots of feels. Guys don't need to waste time lol.

I'm feeling icky today. Not sure if the var or just a bit hormonal. I stopped getting my period about a year and a half ago, but I feel like PMS used to feel. Cried about stupid shit. Body hurts a lot - DOMS from yesterday's workout especially bad. Shoulders hurt bad, lower back stiff and sore.

Sleepy. Hungry. Not hungry. Nauseous. Can't stomach the idea of liquids when normally I can't get enough.

Work stress is being tolerated badly (no power and unexpected construction when I came into the office pissed me off). No stims today so I can stay calm.

Big bloated belly. Gassy. Poopy. (This may be due to the huge bag of spinach I've been trying to finish off on my own before it goes bad- spinach in all the things).

None of these things are characteristic of my normal peppy self, and I can usually crank out a high physical workload before burning out. I feel burned out two days in this week.

A nice hug feels like it could help :( Maybe a trip to the dry sauna later will alleviate some of the icky-ness. :( I may just do half my var dose today and take unplanned rest.
You're having my yesterday. And it sucked too. Sorry you're getting it today. Tomorrow is another day and we'll do what we do. Pick it up and soldier on. It ain't easy and it's sometimes not fun at all but it's part of what separates us from "the others". So you get today to lick your wounds and have feels. Tomorrow you have to be a badass again. :)

Sorry to hear that babe.
Take some time off. Unwind.
Your body is prob just overworked. You'll feel like a million bucks after some time off.

Sorry to hear you are burnt out. Have you considered taking a few days off? Or maybe a few days of active rest to reset? A longer period of rest is sometimes benefical to the mind and body. But know it's easier said than done when your brain is telling you, "No! Must lift more weights!":D

I had a complete rest day on Sunday as I knew it would be a busy week, so it's not like I'm overdoing it.

I had a good lunch - we catered from a small chain here owned by a local body builder and I ditched the food scale, loaded up some chicken breast, couscous, salad topped with some avocado. Now I'm doing some light incline walking to unwind before I get back to work.

Disappointed with my lack of tolerance today but oh well. Tomorrow I will grind through.

Thanks for the support, mesofam.

#mesofam LOL

Hang in there @Happycamper. Marathon...not a sprint. Time to treat yourself. You could watch a replay of yesterday's game...MC 1-PSG 0!!!

Also, try changing something up. Helps me.
Ugh I've had it with the Manchester clubs this week. First United couldn't take points from Tottenscum then City robs us of the genius of Ibrahimovich.

:/

Wait a minute... I haven't heard any transfer rumors about Zlatan to City. Only that he may make a move to the BPL. Y'all can have him. I want Pogba lol.

Ramblings:

Swolest yet most cut guy at the gym said I had amazing form. Asked me about my nutrition and suggested I go lower carb and higher fat. I like it - constructive criticism and respect all at once.

And I figured out, at least I think, why I felt like shit yesterday. Saturday I drove by an estate sale with the most perfect desk for my daughter. 30 dollars and I was sold! But it was very big and had shelves, so not just a standalone desk. Ran home, asked a family friend for their truck and picked it up. I got some help hoisting it onto the truck, but I live on the second floor and getting it out of the truck and it up the stairs was all me. Our corridor is tight, so there was a lot of flipping over, sliding around for a good 45 min until I squeezed it through the door. Then there was the rearranging of the other heavy wood furniture plus clean up...

And that was after a heavy back day + spin. Oops! Lol

Moving furniture will make a man out of you lol. I had to do that shit for a year after high school.

@Thenewera is a fan of high fats lower carbs and appears to be doing him really well. Granted I think he still has that mid 20s metabolism.

I'm in the home stretch of my cycle and the PR I'm most proud of this week is a 90lb standing OHP.

I know this stuff is working when I jumped 30 lbs on my OHP in 8 weeks. I got to 75 at one point before I regressed due to some stuff, but at beginning of cycle I was struggling with 60lbs. So far OHP and deadlift have been where I have put on the most weight.

With eating at a slight deficit, I think it's been successful so far. I'm not magically shredded, but I'm a lot stronger and more hourglass shape as my lats have grown wider and my butt a lot bigger.

I am feeling a little burnt out - being on cycle has been demanding. I'm training a lot. Joints are starting to hurt. I've been sore all week. I haven't experienced any soreness throughout, so I wonder what the issue is.

With 10 days to go, I have to say that the best thing about anavar is my energy and recovery, and that is what has helped push past some lifting stalls I was experiencing. I was having a lot of 'off' days at the gym leading up to my decision to take AAS, and it has been so awesome to get to the gym and put in killer workouts almost 6 days a week without fail. Lots of intensity and volume. However, that makes it hard to eat at a meaningful caloric deficit, and despite 7 days a week of cardio, I'm not any smaller. Just super buff lol. And unlike the start of cycle, I'm so hungry. It's been a struggle to stay at 1800-2000 cals. I've been doing daily cardio to mitigate fat gain.

I know I will cycle again come August. I've had a taste of enhanced recovery and for me personally, this isn't a cutting compound. It's too good to aggressively diet and not benefit from the performance enhancement.

I got asked out today by the guy doing shrugs next to me. He said my 'intensity was infectious' and wanted to take me to dinner.

Too bad I'm the most awkward person ever and I replied 'oh, thanks so much! Have you seen the bar clamps anywhere???' I have no swag whatsoever. I need help in the boy department...are there any PEDs for dating?!?!?

Congrats on the PR and I can't believe you only have less than 10 days to go before the end of your cycle. That seemed to have gone by so quickly!

I bet its a walking offer....meaning should you decide you want to take him up on it...
just walk up to him and tell what time to pick you up and hand him your #. Then walk away, slowly, dont stand there HC and get akward... get in and get out!

Was the guy cute? Go for it girl! Maybe you'll get a handsome training partner. It's always nice having a Stuf muffin to look at.
