Freshman year of high school I weighed 90lbs senior year I weighed 140lbs. I wrestled thoughout and cutting weight threw any gains straight out of the window. During the year after that, I worked out with a personal trainer who competed in men's physique 4-5 days a week and had a meal plan from a nutritionist. After that, I was 145ish. I was still sick of being light so I started my own plan. 4000 clean calories including a gallon of whole milk a day. After that I was 158lbs but it was mostly water weight from the milk because I always intentionally weighed at night just to see the numbers going up. I quickly dropped down to 150 after discontinuing the expensive milk. Now last summer I continued training as well as eating. I normally have a solid breakfast consisting of 3-4 eggs, egg whites, fruit, half cup of oatmeal and a protein shake, and I have around a 750-900 calorie meal in between breakfast and lunch. At lunch I eat another 1000+ calorie meal consisting of grilled chicken, noodles and rice some veggies. After that I eat three more meals. This cycle appeals to me because it is a mild, relatively safe cycle that would absolutely aid in achieving my goals. I have everything I need to begin this cycle right now.
