You can't train off cycle like you can while your on. This is a given
But you can divide up your program so your hitting all the same body parts more often just with less total volume each day

The biggest detriment to being off cycle is RECOVERY.
How would you compare blast and cruise to cycling? This my first time doing a bnc. Normally i kept 65-80% of my gains the 2 times i cycled prior but i was wondering how it would be different compared to bnc as far as recovery goes. Im guessing womens experience will be close to a man that cycles as far as this goes as opposed to a bnc?

Depends what you CRUISE at:p
Of course thr other option is a gh regimen. If you got the money. That'll eliminate a heavy cruise
 
So my adventure partner with benefits wants to run tren as his first cycle...my understanding is that tren is pretty intense. I don't doubt his experience with lifting and diet - he's got a good muscle base, great lift numbers and good diet. What is a better first cycle for a guy in his late 20s?

That's what I said...but I don't want to ruin our very awesome arrangement by undermining his decision.

At the moment he's cutting hard in prep to run his first cycle and I'm squatting more than him so already I'm one upping him by lifting more and have a cycle done and dusted lol.

Squat is lacking most definitely. Most people I know lack in their squat tho. He's pulling 2.5x the squat and benching equal to squat.
 
Trukker is right @Happycamper. Test only first cycle. Much like anavar for women if everything else is on point this is all he will need. If his training and/or diet aren't on point his gains won't be anywhere near what they could be.

Tren could turn your friend with benefits into an asshole with no benefits pretty quickly depending on how his body handles it.
 
I'm not an authority on on any of this btw, most of my knowledge is anecdotal at best. But I do know that I only considered var after a full year of no progression and actual regression and muscle atrophy for reasons I could not figure out. And I also went in prepared that I'd have to cycle a few times to get dramatic changes. This is a simple, tedious process - eat and lift ad naseaum. Adding var to the mix would just help with frustrations you inevitabley get in fitness as you age and get past newbie/intermediate gains.


I appreciate Any advice you want to give on this :) I'm going to try to read through you and crystals logs entirely to get a better idea of where I need to start out at and what realistic expectations should be.

You both have amazing bodies that I would love to achieve. :p I'm going to just keep at it and follow y'alls progress so I can get a better grasp on how all of this works.

Smart girl! I don't think you need AAS at this point. You've made good progress already and a little more work on your diet and training and I think you will be happy. Down the line if you want to try it the opportunity will be there.

Thank you, but I want shoulders and back like Crystal, curves and mid section like devika and thighs like happy, Dammit!! :D

I was doing great before the boob job, but hit a plateau for the last month or so. I wasn't seeing any more weight loss or muscle definition. I'm going to work hard for the next month and get back to that point and hopefully get through. If not, I'll consider var a little more seriously. For now I'm just going to follow the girls and educate myself. I'm sure I'm gonna give it a try at some point even if it's a little further down the road.

Takes time. My girl is cutting now as well. Same as me so we don't buy junk and tempt each other lol. It's taken me a little over 3 months thus far to come down from 284. That's more than 30lb lost. My girl is doing a slow cut too. 1lb a week. 2 max. Keep all muscle. Much faster than that and you will sacrifice the all important hard earned muscle. Time time time. She's strength training with me as well. I push her and she adapts and overcomes. Keep the sites set high. Nothing works miracles

Did you ever post what your training looks like? Post a week's worth so we can take a look.
 
I'll work on that and post it early next week. For the last month I've been working on mostly hiit so I can burn off these last couple pounds and just maintain the muscle I do have.

I don't actually have a training layout like I've seen in y'alls logs. Probably something I need to get worked out :confused:
