When i get pulled over for a traffic violation and am asked "do you know why i pulled you over today? " i won't even answer that, no bullshit.
For those who are interested, my fancy state paid for lawyer is requesting that all evidence be thrown out (actually given back to me) on the basis of my refusal to consent or talk but it being fucking balls cold is on the level of torture. Thanks guys. I'll know what the judge or prosecuter does soon.
If charges dropped, I don't think you'll get it back, but I could be wrong.

I wonder if he will have to prove that birth control pills were prescribed. I had a pocket full of benzos and got caught. Charges dropped only if I can prove that it was prescribed to me. I was charged with keeping pills in a non rx container. I dug up rx from years ago by going to Walgreens and asking for my entire history. Ended up getting dropped bit costed me lawyer fees.

True. I have no idea how that works with unscheduled drugs though. Never been an issue.
I tried to get two zips of weed back from the justice system once, just to say fuck you. The cost would have ended up more than the weed though. Or maybe my lawyer just wanted it over with, not sure, lol. Just be happy with your freedom.
Depends in my experience. If they're investigating you as a possible suspect in a crime then definitely... Don't say a word, you're already guilty in their mind! If they're just suspicious that you might be up to no good because of how you look or the neighborhood you're in or whatever AND you actually do have something to hide then clamming up will get you effed more often than not imo. Being super chill and also being respectful and putting the cop at ease is your best chance of getting told to go on your way rather than going to jail because they found your stash or recognized you were high or whatever.
That's my experience at least. Glad I haven't dealt with any of that in quite awhile... That part of my life was no fun.
