Today I'm starting my first DNP cycle. I'm going to keep it low throughout at 200 mg ed. I'm going to stay on for as long as I can. I'm interested in whether this low a dose over a longer period of time can be effective; and if so, whether the sides stay tolerable throughout. I'm also interested in what effect this low a dose will have on my workouts.

I'm using Heretical's DNP with querceten (sp?) in it. Plan to take a broad spectrum of anti-oxidants, potassium chloride and glycerin. Theoretically the quercerten means I won;t need benadryl. Any other supplement's anyone would reccomend for this low a dose?

Diet -- no changes except that I will pay more attention to eating clean -- no simple carbs, lower amount of salt than I'm used to eating, no wine with dinner anymore.

Well that's about it. I won't check in to update until I notice anything noteworthy.
 
middle of day 3 @ 200mg:

felt hot all day..temp outside was mid 80's...tried to do some yardwork, but was not an option....just felt too damn hot.

hard to stay hydrated...fell thirsty and finger tips have slight tingle..may bag tonight....also shortness of breath is apparent, porbably holding a little water.

sodium intake has been at a minimum.

will update tomorrow am.

greyowl your on the same DNP i just finished.Some people have a high tolerance
for this stuff and 200mg does shit.Trust me bro you have to just bite the bullit and up the dose.I tapered up to 600mg and i expect to lose 7lbs or so by this time next week.

are you already pretty lean though? that might have alot to do with it

and also your true weight is when you wake up in the morning take a piss/shit then get butt asss naked on the scale, sometimes my weight changes 3-4 pounds from night to morning
 
My DNP should be in Mon. or Tuesday,I'll keep the board updated onmy progress...I'm starting from pretty high BF % from bein down over the past five months,so we'll see what happens.

I can't imagine 200mg would do anything for you. I would always do 600mg for like 5 days. then take 4 off and do it again. but the sides sucked. So this time I'm gonna do 400mg/ day for 25 days and take benadryl and lots of fiber (Citrucel pills) . But c'mon grey, you were expecting results after just 4 days of just 200mg?? Yo ucan't play it that safe, you 're better off just taking a ECA and go running in the morning. Cheers.

Hey brother, I actually gained some weight while I was on the DNP. I looked like the Michelin man, so bloated it made me unconfortable. But, about 3 or 4 days after I was completed, most of the water shed and by the end of the week I looked like a different person. So, hang in there bro, it's working, just doesn't look like it.

I was at 246 prior to starting, and ended up at 237ish (I was probly around 14-16% bodyfat when I started). I didn't alter my diet in any way or take anything extra. But damn, whatever chemical reactions were happening in my body were for the worse when it decided to come out the other end of me. Ouch!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Like I say, I will stay on 200 mg ed until the end of one week and if I see no weight loss by then will up to 400 mg ed.

Start of Day 5 and still haven't lost a single cocksucking, motherfucking ounce. And this was after a day of lowered cals and an intense, ballbusting 40-minute cardio session on a stationary bike. Motherfucker! And this is after hearing all of you guys talk about losing 4-5 lbs per week. Pricks!
 
You won't see anything too dramatic at 200mg ED, at least not for maybe a week or two. Everyone is right about the water retention, you have to account for that. Generally when people drop weight rapidly it's at 400-600mg ED, although there are a few that will still get that effect at 200mg.

start of day 4 @ 200mg

weighed in up 1lb. probably due to edema..fingers will swollen.

nights sweating has increased....body temp is constantly up.

appetite is down.

not flaming....but the reason for this low dose run is more a less an experiment to see if it is possible.....some say no....some say yes....so we will find out.

Day 5 for me. 2nd day at 400mg. Doing okay. Notice episodes of shortness of breath and HEAT!!! but am doing well over all.
I'm dying to have a cheat meal and I may do it tonight or tomorrow night during the PRIDE fights. Any tips on cheat meal strategies with DNP?

I'm losing weight already but that could just be water. I ran 25mcg of T3 today and I'm no longer running the Methyl Dien. I'm watching the scale and the bodyfat (it's on the scale so it isn't very accurate) but I'm judging my results mostly with the mirror. I'll reserve my judgement for a few days after the DNP cycle is over.

expect to see results 3-5 days after last dosage. I am on day 4 and I am finally seeing water leave.
 
Start of day 6. Still no weight change.

There must be a bloat thing happenning because last few days have ben quite low-cal for me and under normal circumstances I would have lost something. So the fact that I haven't might indicate that I'm putting on water. But how much bloat-water can I actually be carrying on a 180-lb frame?

Only sign of the DNP that I've noticed is a bit of night sweats. About night sweats -- I find that if I get up and wash my face and chest, then powder with talc, that makes it much more comfortable.

you may be suprised how much water you can hold. the stories you hear of bros loosing shitloads of weight are at a higher dose. ive lost 3 ponds a day before but was way past miserable at 800mg/d. 400mg is tolerable. i really want to exsperement with 200/d with t3. i just cant work this time of year on anything higher. greyowl this may sound stupid but maybe try uping your cals especially good carbs just exsperiment.

Scrappy, it would be nice to know if you lose the fat from all areas including those stubborn hard to shift areas, or whether your body takes the easy route and just burns the easy fat

DNP is definitely taking fat from the easier areas first. I believe it will get into the other more difficult fat once that has been depleted. I was about 211 when I started and was 203 today. My 7th day. I've been dieting and training pretty hard. This is my 4th day at 400mg. Last night I carbed up and let me tell you I sweated a lake sleeping last night. I used skim milk with corn pops and honey smacks and pretzels and soda. Not clean but man the heat was incredible. I was reading that DNP blocks the mechanism by which carbs are stored as fat so it is advisable to eat high carb/protein and low fat while on. Most people keep carbs low for comfort I think. I was doing a low carb diet until yesterday, still losing the weight but man when I loaded carbs I can't tell you the heat I felt. I'm not going to 600 though it is tempting. I think I will shut it down on wednesday. Results seem good and I hope they are even better once water is out and I go on the sauce for a cutter.
