Hair Loss

Both but more in the crown vs front.. nizoral and if you are that concerned FUE is amazing... scar free hair transplant. You can consume 1000mg test a week and you won't shed those transplanted hairs as they are not prone to DHT.

Im going to give you my recommended treatment for hair loss which has worked on every single victim of hair loss who has come to me for aid. Some are even serial competitors blasting 3-5g of gear per week and CLEARLY genetically predispositioned.

1) Apply once per day
Dualgen-15
Minoxidil 15%
Azelaic Acid 5%
Finasteride 0.1mg
Retinol 0.025%
Caffeine 0.001%

2) Microneedle the Scalp Once per 6-10 days
Use a 0.5-1.25mm Dermaroller. Practice proper hygiene with it.

On days you microneedle, shower first, apply Dualgen-15, and then microneedle. This will increase drug uptake by a few orders of magnitude. Do not apply the drug after microneedling.

3) Protective Shampoo/Condition
Nioxin is a good one. Tons exist.

The main tool here is #2 - Microneedling. Every study that has used it has shown incredible success in all cohorts when compared to just Minoxidil/Finasteride.

A total of 94 patients, 20 had been treated with Finasteride and Minoxidil in the past for 6 months to 1 year duration and had reported no improvement, of which twelve were randomized to the Microneedling group and eight to the Minoxidil group.
The mean change in hair count at week 12 was significantly greater for the Microneedling group compared to the Minoxidil group (91.4 vs. 22.2 respectively, P = 0.039) .
Forty patients in Microneedling group had +2 to +3 response on 7-point visual analogue scale, while none showed the same response in the Minoxidil group.

I myself had grade II hair loss (Norwood Scale). After 8 months of this treatment, and missing many days of applying formula to my scalp, you would never guess I had any hair loss. Everything is visually back to normal, though I'm still incredibly paranoid about it.

Microneedling will also reduce or eliminate scarring/fine wrinkles, and can improve the quality of skin dramatically.

It works by promoting the release of growth factors and fresh blood supply via angiogenesis.

So if you are completely bald, it would still work? LoL

Finasteride fucks with your libido big time. If you stay on to long it's permanent.

I do not know the answer to your question as it stands. I suppose it depends on the state of the follicles. I had completely bald spots that have returned fully, as far as I can tell.

The dose of finasteride you guys take is horrendous. 0.1mg oral QD is effective. Stop taking 5mg lol. It wont fuck with your libido there. And every single study I have seen shows finasteride at the dose I am recommending doesn't affect libido more than placebo... some men just flatline on their own.

Remember, 5a-reductase is an enzyme involved in much much more than simply catalysing test to DHT. Anecdotal evidence tells me 5a reduction of other important neurosteroids may not be affected as much by lower doses of finasteride as opposed to DHT being killed off just as much with 0.1mg as 10mg.

Many drugs can have quite significantly different effects at different doses - it is not always a case of there being a linear dose/physiological response.

NaSSA class drugs for example are often much more likely to induce somnolence at a low dose rather than high dose a la Mirtazipine 15 -> 30mg.

GHB elicits an excitatory response at lower doses of 200mg-1g as the GHB receptor is agonized whereas at higher doses the inhibitory GABAergic system is affected causing sleep.

Trust me. You won't have any issues with your sex drive at 0.05-0.1mg of Finasteride. But you will have more free test and more hair.

Don't use tren, high dose test, dbol, winny, masteron...hair or muscles -- you decide. If you are genetically predisposed at some point you will shed your locks. Unless you're willing to spend some time and cash to treat this condition daily.

I can only find the .25 versions. Do you have a place you buy these?

Picard F, Hersant B, Niddam J, Meningaud JP. Injections of Platelet-Rich Plasma for androgenic alopecia: A systematic review. J Stomatol Oral Maxillofac Surg. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2468785517301106

The aim of this literature review was to evaluate the effects of PRP injections into the scalp of patients with androgenic alopecia.

A literature review was conducted using the Pubmed and Google Scholar databases with the search terms "platelet-rich plasma" or "platelet-rich fibrin" and "hair" or "alopecia" or "androgenic alopecia". The publications included had to clinically assess the efficacy of PRP injections in patients with androgenic alopecia.

Out of the 32 publications retrieved, 14 publications were included, of which 3 randomized, 4 prospective controlled, 4 prospective uncontrolled and 3 retrospective studies. Seven out of 9 studies reported a significant increase of hair density ranging between 12.3 and 45.9 hairs/cm2, (i.e. 19-31% hairs/cm2). Four studies assessed hair loss with the traction test and found a negative result after treatment in more than 95% of patients. Regarding hair thickness, 1 study reported an increase in hair diameter of 46.4% and 1 reported an increase of 106.4% of the "Hair mass index".

Overall, the use of PRP injections in patients with androgenic alopecia seems effective with respect to promoting lost hair regrowth, decreasing hair loss and increasing hair thickness. The effects appear to be progressive from the first injection session, to peak after 3 to 5 sessions and to be attenuated in the absence of further injections. No major adverse effect was reported in the 14 clinical studies.

interesting post! thanks for sharing
do you think itll be just as effective without the finasteride? kinda paranoid about using it

Yea this sucks! I have really thick hair and thought I wouldn't have to worry about this. After 3 cycles of tren (as well as few years on and off other stuff) I noticed my crown is much thinner then the front. Fuck lol. It does effect everyone over time. I'll start with Rogaine as I'm still ok for now most wouldn't notice but I can tell. Hopefully this will keep me from losing much more. I'll look into some of the other treatments. Thanks for info guys!

And what sort of evidence have you to support such a bold claim that such a complicated concoction "worked in every single victim of hair loss" ! I suppose the first step would be to define "worked" in objective terms.

Nonetheless studies I've seen to date indicate MICRO-NEEDLING is certainly worth a try BUT many questions remain such as optimal needle length, length of therapy, utility of additive topical therapies, efficacy in INDIVIDUAL patients, it's application in those with prolonged hair loss etc.

Of course its major drawback IT HURTS so compliance will be an issue, and for the same reason I suspect the results of clinical trials will be higher than those achieved on an INDIVIDUAL "at home" basis.

[OA] Mesotherapy with Dutasteride In the Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia

Dutasteride is used off-label worldwide in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and has proved its efficacy in different studies. Mesotherapy using dutasteride (MD) has also been used in patients with AGA.

Therapy schedules reported involve frequent treatment sessions, what is a limitation for some patients and may difficult the treatment adherence. The objective of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a new treatment protocol with MD performing sessions each 3 months.

A prospective clinical study including patients diagnosed with AGA was designed. MD was performed with 1 mL of intradermal dutasteride 0.01% injections (dutasteride 0.01%, Mesotherapy Worldwide, Australia) through 6 months with a one-session treatment every three months; a total of three sessions.

Because compliance continues to be a major drawback of topical alopecia therapy, one can only hope parenteral therapies will continue to evolve as a focus of hair loss research.

I'm confused a bit about the process of microneedling. I read that it's only advised to use the dermaroller on bald spots not on sections of your head that already have hair there due to the risk of the dermaroller damaging the already existing hair. Do you guys use the roller on your whole head or just on the bald spots?
