help with Christmas gift

ok, bros..anybody familiar here with drones? My son had been begging for a drone for Christmas so my father in law got him one. We tried to let him fly it today and it's way to complicated and has too many functions for him and will soon enough be floating in my pond..

He's so disappointed and I'd like to try and find a user friendly drone at an affordable price that Santa can leave under the tree.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

My kid is wearing me out for a drone also. I got a cheaper one for about $80 so when it crashes I won't be to disappointed. Try YouTube and check there. Good luck
