Hi there, I'd love to get your opinions on taking straight up HGH vs. a combo like GHRP-2 + Sermorelin. (Obviously there are other choices like GHRP-6 and Ipamorelin and others.)

My main goal is general tissue repair and recovery. Side benefits might be general anti-aging and better sleep.

For tissue repair, I've got a bad ankle and high-mileage knees (running), and hurt my shoulder lifting several years ago (partial rotator cuff tear and messed up labrum).

My shoulder is much much better, but when I lift, I feel right when I get to the limit of fatigue and soreness, and I often have to stop my workout a bit early due to my shoulder. It's not THAT bad, though, and I've been doing mobility and strength exercises for several years now.

My concern with HGH is that it could reduce my natural HGH production/release. My concern with an HGH alternative is they aren't as effective.

I plan/hope to do this long term, so I'd be using lower doses, and not hurting natural levels would be nice.

Thank you!

I would look into BPC-157 & TB500 as well. Peptides over HGH for what you are needing IMO.

I was on 250mcg (each) sermorelin/ipamorelin twice daily for 4 months. Prescribed (so pharma).

Raised my IGF by around 40 points. 196 pre to 236 post.

HOWEVER i also started 300mg test / wk at the same time... So I'm not sure they did anything at all (except cost 500/mo).

At that point you might as well run the best generic at 6iu a day.

Thanks! So many research chems, but not much real info besides anecdotes.

Don't wanna take something, then a few years later find out it was linked to cancer or something

Cool, thanks so much!

Was your Sermorelin/ipamorelin more expensive vs. testosterone?

I can get Dr. Prescribed GHRP-2 + Sermorlin, but it's almost $80 for a 10-day vial (once per day at a low dose).

I've seen some prices on here that are much much cheaper... Just gotta make sure it's real (impossible to know??)

Hey everyone thanks for replying! I'm surprised so many people would take Peptides vs. HGH.

That's how I was leaning anyways...mainly because I'm concerned with taking HGH for several months and possibly harming my own production..?

Granted, I'm leaning towards longer-term, low doses of anything I take. And only once a day (night) because I can't deal with being tired or groggy during the day, which both peptides and GH seem to cause.

Is GHRP-2 + Sermorelin considered the ''best" combo? I'm hoping for LESS hunger and more sleepiness (since I have insomnia and would only take before bed)

Peptides and HGH never really helped me sleep more overall. Once i switched to 4IU HGH split AM/PM my time spent in deep sleep about doubled though. I was averaging ~1hr a night for around 6 months before I started HGH and now I average 2-2.5hrs a night according to my sleep monitor.

I guess that's a bonus but I would not have noticed any difference had i not been wearing the monitor gizmo.

Yes, about 50% more expensive.

300mg/wk TRT script runs me ~$7.5/day
Peptides @ 500mcg/day ipam/serm cost ~$15/day.

You can get pharma HGH for around $4-5/iu (so around 20$/day for me. Black market sources though)
The RX'd peptides were about $15/day (5 on 2 off schedule as written)

"Good" generic HGH can be had for around $1.5/iu

I'm sure I could shop around and get a script for less but I can't be bothered. I only need to do blood work and a physical once / year. I monitor everything myself and just wanted someone to write the script so I can travel worry free.

If you're worried about harming your own production of GH by taking exogenous GH, well don't. Your own production is so small that it doesn't matter anyway. A lot of people take peptides to try and save money, and still mimic the effects of taking GH, because that is basically what all these peptides are trying to do. IMO GH is an investment, if you don't have the money for it then save up until you do instead of wasting it on peptides. You are going to spend more money on peptides than you would on pharm grade GH anyway, and you are not going to get anywhere near the same results as you would by taking GH. If you have any doubts about this, then save up $ and buy a few kits of Serostim or the equivalent. Take it at 4-6iu per day, then stop and take whatever peptides you were going to take, and compare the two. Sermorelin is absolute junk. It does nothing. HRT docs prescribe it because they can't legally prescribe GH. My HRT doc had me try it, and it literally does absolutely nothing. No IGF increase, nothing. As far as GH causing drowsiness, that varies from person to person. Just my opinion, and trying to keep you from wasting your $ like I once did on peptides.

I was going to use the analogy that peptides are like BB supplements to steroids. Sure some supplements work but compared to gear there’s no comparison.
