How many calories do you eat?

Cutting on test and mast and a little bit of EQ. Eating under 2000 cals a day, as close to keto as possible and absolutely miserable. M.I.S.E.R.A.B.L.E.

Why is it necessary for you to even go below 2,000 calories? Don’t competitors even stay above 2,000 through prep and stepping on stage?

I’m actually curious as I could easily be wrong.

I'm not a bodybuilder though. Just looking to move down a weight class at Judo.

Wouldn't you want to eat more, not less? I'm a "bodybuilder" and I'm cutting, my only worry is physique, if you're in a performance sport a fast hard cut will probably do more harm than good. What's your TDEE?

Very close to 150g protein, 130g fat, <30g carbs.
If you're trying to get into ketosis (which can take over a week sometimes) you're going to feel like shit until that happens...Otherwise, you should be having carbs at least at breakfast, preWO & PWO.

But, you're eating like 1200 calories under maintenance, which is to much...

Just my $.02

Not really. about 10 weeks.

Eat more to drop a weight class?

I think he meant you can eat more than you’re eating and still drop weight without losing too much strength and conditioning. Especially with 10 weeks left. I’ll let jay speak for himself, but that’s just my non-professional opinion.

Very unlikely you'll get into ketosis with these macros. Fat intake needs to go up. I don't know what your bodyfat is but you could probably stand to bump up protein some too... Just a little.

I'd do a refeed if I were you to jumpstart your system since you're so low in calories... It'll be a good opportunity to drive fat intake way up and try to actually get into ketosis. Eggs, bacon, butter, steak, etc... Get nasty. :)

Hope you feel better.

Thankyou brother. Thats exactly what I'll be doing.

Short term goal of looking amazing for summer after bulking all of 2017 has been achieved quickly. My first tren run, and uh oh but my god I love tren. I’ve been cutting for 3 months eating at what I thought was a 500cal deficit around 2600. I knew I was shredding but had no idea my bf had gotten that low, I mean I’m cool with 10-12%. Best part about all that is my maintenance cals rise to 3495 :) So anyway I’ve unknowingly been eating around a 900cal deficit while on tren ace for almost 8 weeks, no wonder I’ve been so fuckin hungry. Eating now around 3000 and feeling only slightly hungry which is much more manageable. Generally 250c 75f 350p.

Researching and going through my journal has me planning my next tren run for July and August, this one will be a 200cal surplus to start and prob less protein and more carbs.

eat around 4600 cals. Slowly tappering down. Weighing around 255.
I eat all my carbs in breakfast/pre/post meals. You think it would be more beneficial to eat carbs in all meals equally throughout the day minus before bed? Basically ~80g breakfast and ~100 pre, ~100 post.
