IFBB Pro Killionb12 and Ironlion log

Had a great push day yesterday. Strength is still progressing even on cruise levels of Test at 250mg weekly. Here is what went down.

Prime incline press 4 plates on middle peg and 1 plate on bottom - 7 reps
Backoff set 4 plates - 12 reps

Flat DB press 120s cluster set - 22 reps

Prime seated chest press full stack plus 15lbs on end range setting - 12 reps
2nd set on beginning range - 9 reps

Flat bench db flys 2 sec negative 50lbs - 15 reps to failure then pressed them for 8 reps

Lying cable laterals 2 sets 30lbs - 14, 12 reps

Standing cable laterals single arm 25lbs - 10, 9

Can more members please pay attention to how one of the biggest guys on this board trains? The volume/total working sets?

Haha thanks man! I’m a firm believer that you can grow off minimal volume as long as the intensity and execution is spot on. Training to absolute failure and controlling the weight. People a lot of the time think more volume is what’s needed to grow when it’s probably their lack of intensity and execution that is the core problem.

I agree 100% And by following those same principles I am definitely the biggest I've ever been

Got a nice little delivery the other day. Stocking up for my prep coming up in February! Vials and labels look great. All evenly filled. Can’t wait to try the Primo, will be first time using Ironlion primo for me.

Checkin with coach and sitting at 290.6lbs fasted. This health phase has been great so far and feeling really good. Strength keeps progressing and weight has even went up some. Hoping to keep hardening up at this weight before starting prep.

Haha no worries. I take Telmisartan which is an ARB for blood pressure but has other benefits including regulating hematocrit. Here is an image from a good source on telmisartan benefits. I take 80mg daily. I never had high blood pressure but when on cycle I would be pre hypertension so wanted to control that and get the other benefits as well.

I also use telmisartan. and this is a real working and important thing for all of us who use drugs. I have a question why are you using the 80mg dosage? i use 40 mg. I know that 80 mg usually burns visceral fat

I went to 80mg because it wasn’t managing my blood pressure as well at 40mg. I will probably drop that down as I get deeper into prep. Once my weight goes down my BP usually improves. The visceral fat is definitely an added benefit but I wasn’t sure at what dosage it starts to help with that, do you have a link to the study that shows what dosage?
