Jay Max Log (Switching from BB to PL and a place to BS)

Had a crazy pump after my workout. And felt super Alpha. Like super alpha. So alpha I thought I could strangle a panda bear to death with my bare hands (and before you say its a panda, key word is BEAR. They have claws. Sure theyre cute, but I bet one would fuck you up). There were no zoo's open, so that'll have to wait for another day.
Also weight is at 236. Up about 4 lbs from after my loss. And its good weight. I started putting on a little fat before because my diet got loose. Ive tightened it up and the SD is helping.

Panda Bears are no joke. I just saw one fuck up some dudes keyboard and monitor, then he stared at the dude like he was gotta eat him!!

Recovery Day aka Smile

Close Hand Bench - I like to start with squats but some dude in a bunch of spandex was on it. Imagine a lot of spandex and double it. Then multiply that by 2. Thats half as much as he had on.

Intensity Day aka Feelin Myself

Woke up and my quad was crazy sore. I do my injects on friday and monday night, but I never had this problem before. I was hoping it didnt effect my w/o too much...it did not.

330 x 5 - At this point I figured out my 5rm is 330 but my 1rm is 350. Thats not right so...
375 x 1 - new PR. Had to try this twice. This first time I started going down and felt a tingle in my stomach. 10 minutes later I went again and got it.

Paused Bench

315 x 3 - I was going to go higher here but the gym was going to close, i thought, so I moved on to DL

Deadlift

385 x 1 - "new PR" Took 3 attempts and it was as ugly as could be. The exact opposite of smooth. Got it up, but I'll try again another day.

Thats it. Ive been real up and down on energy lately. Ill go in and be great, then be completly drained my 2nd exercise, then get hyped again. I dont know why.

Also weighed in at 237. I had a goal to be 250 by Dec 1 (remember I was 243 on October 25th) but I lost all that weight. So Ill be happy with 240. Im looking pretty good, my diet is back on point.

I have about 2 weeks of log left. My goal is to get 400 on squat and DL and 365 on bench by then. We shall see...

Truthfully I should be able to do more. Though this program isnt set up for 1RMs. After i lost that weight I lost some strength too, so Im happy with it.

315 for 3 full pause reps isn't the easiest thing to pull off I found that out last Thursday. Looks like you had a good day

Pauses change the game. Theres been a few times the barbells gone down and I wasnt sure it was going to go back up.

Recovery -ish Day aka Crawling

Ive been out of commission for a few days. If you go back to page 1, post 1, youll see I have a medical condition thats started to flare up. I was in bed all day sun, mon, tues. No work. No gym. No nothing. I was force feeding myself to hit cals. Finally used what energy I had to crawl to the gym today. Didnt really know what I was gonna do, but I did it.

P.S. I have some meds coming in the mail thatll get me back to normal. Some actual "steroids", not our steroids.

Ive been playing with feet placement lately. I noticed in some OL videos and in MPs videos their feet were different than where I place mine, which is usually somewhere random. Still havent found the optimal placing yet.

Had a decent workout. Feeling better. I may go in tomorrow for my pulls. If anyone has noticed I do 3 workouts a week. Usually my volume + pulls. My recovery + pushes. And intensity day with bench, squat, dl. Since I missed a workout I missed pulls, but i dont know what im going to do. Ill see how I feel in the AM.

I have Crohn's which is very similar. Totally sucks when it flares up. Can screw up everything you are doing, lifting and otherwise. Hopefully the Meds will take care of it.

Sorry to hear about your setback jay, having a medical condition that keeps you down for days gotta be rough. It takes alot of heart and determination to drag yourself to the gym with that shit going on, i hope you feel back to normal soon.

So I did make it in. Im tired as hell, but feeling better. Decided to do some pulls / back. Not a usual workout, but I missed a day. I'll get back to normal Saturday and next week (which will be my last week of my log).

Intensity Day aka Breathe

Came in and some Kris Jenner looking thing was hogging the only squat rack. I waited a few minutes, then gave in and started with bench.

355 x 1 - PR - went up so easy I thought my spotter did it. I had videod it and he did no work. I felt like I couldve added 25lbs. But decided it was time to move on since the squat rack was free

Thats it. Why did I have such a good session today? Well I have something to confess. I, Jaymaximus, am taking PEDs. Usually on volume day I take 10 mg Halo an hour pwo. On intensity its 20mg. Today I tried 30...it worked.

I have about a week left. Lifts are good. Weight is at 240 on the dot. Gonna finish up strong.

I like naked women!!!!
