If it was my name he leaked out along with some kind of info that I had told him in a private message, and then not given permission, I would still be jumping this guys ass. I’ve pretty well gotten passed this in the vetting process but I can’t believe any member would be ok with publicly giving out any info concerning pm’s. How soft has this place gotten?
Maybe if it was your name but anyone else’s you wouldn’t give two fucks let’s be honest.

What info? Please tell me what info was “leaked”? Kim saying she’s a teacher that lives in AZ is 1,000 times more info than “Kim’s friend”. Put the sword away.

I agree here!
PMs are private messages! The conversations are supposed to be kept private. Disclosing anyone’s handle without their permission is bad taste to say the least.
If @Kim or “her friend” wanted that information out in the open I’m sure they would have said it out in the open themselves.
It comes down to respecting one other and respecting a private conversation.

@HIGHRISK
Bro, it has nothing to do with her being female and wanting to save her!? What would someone have to gain from that? We are all anonymous members here anyway... this isn’t match.com? Lol

I always thought we were a community (male and female) and consider all members to be our friends here with common goals! To look out for each other, and help with those goals!
So I don’t really understand your white knight statement...

I do think it was an honest mistake by @LionheadLabs but now it can just be a lesson learned, imo. It wasn’t any detailed information or anything but still enough to be frowned upon.

I kinda see your point but honestly what "info" was really posted? Kim’s posted more personal info than that. We all have matter of fact. Maybe I missed something as I only skimmed through this garbage here. I really didn’t see any info other than a friend of Kim’s. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Edit: if this was anyone else we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. All the white knights came out to take up for Kim who is more than capable of defending herself. Which I might have missed it but I didn’t see her complaining one time here about this it was all of you.
You could be a white knight too.. Seriously, he is new, but I did have a little chit chat with him privately. He apologized quickly. The problem you aren't seeing is that it could imply I am working with him, or giving him sales, or like he said setting up a vetted sale....Lots of reasons why a name shouldn't be brought into a public forum. People assume. In this case everyone knew I was researching and getting info out as fast as I could. He is learning. Earlier he asked me a question, instead of just doing it. He is thinking about it now. I have made mistakes too. Which I have apologized too as well.

Not that many people know where I live....

The guy actually just confirmed to me that he was okay with everyone knowing from the start.

Thank you. I agree. Gender wouldn't have mattered. @Iron Vett would have said the same thing.

I understand that. You didn’t say you were given permission to when you posted it.
Actually it would have been even better for him to post it instead of you. The customer needs to speak for himself and until he does it just best not to say anything, imo.

This instance isn’t a huge issue. It very well could have been though! So it needed to be touched on but doesn’t need to be dwelled on. :)

I’m sorry you feel this way but I would have stood up for you also if it was you. I hammered thebrewkit relentlessly for this same thing for another member. And also quite a few other problems with that idiot.

Handles were never given. Kim’s “friend” could be anyone, seeing as how any one of us talks to her via PM.

I have no need to be. You can take of yourself just fine.

True, I have talked to a group of people over pms with information that was needed. It's not like the whole "sliding into pm" thing. My pms are actual data I deem important.
