I like to pin twice a week instead of once keeps everything feeling better for me.
D-bol would be counter productive to your goals right now I think.

Congrats on the incline .

Thank you :) ok, will just save it for the bulk then.

I need your guys' help on this pretty plz!

And for diet, was currently doing low carb, so under 75g carbs. Only source carbs are veggies and old fashioned oats plus around 40g fat and 170g protein.

But was considering doing very low carb so just 170g protein and 40-50g fat 6 days a week then the 7th day having last meal of the day consisting of carbs (50 grams oats and 8oz sweet potato + 20g almonds) then repeat the 6 days very low carb again and on.
The amount of calories you are eating right now seems awfully low. Did you calculate your TDEE? Be careful that you don't tank your metabolism.

Yup it is pretty low, TDEE was ~1920, BMR was 1560 something. I figured the refeeds would help, going up to maintenance calories around 2000 calories. Right now days end up being 1300-1400 cals but I def feel better on less carbs and more fat than having a little bit of carbs like oats. Sort of like a cyclical keto diet I guess, with one day per week having carbs in it.

Why I was thinking of switching to that :)

OMG finally got to 130 squat today.
ONLY 5 LBS AWAY FROM 135!!!
I know thats not a lot but still...

It was only me and one other guy in the weights area this morning (it was 3:30 am lol) and I warmed up first with 45lbs, then 65 lbs, then 95 lbs, then working sets with 115 then thought I could add 10 lbs more (which is the max I've ever done- only one set though). Looked over and the guy was deadlifting 350+ lbs...and walked up to him and asked if he could spot me. So added the 5 lbs and ended up doing all 5 reps. He only helped me to rerack. Then he asked "so are you strength training" or something like that which started a convo and we started talking about other things basically the whole time. I've never seen him at my gym before though, he was from out of town. Idk if I'll really ever see him again. We even shared chalk together lol ;)

Sharing chalk together. Could it be love?

Just think, if she thinks that's impressive and she's on gear imagine what everyone things when we do heavy deadlift sessions o_O I mean hell im still beltless double over hand no chalk at 350 but I guess I'd chalk up if I was sharing with a hottie
Yeah, but....your disaqualified....yeah, because your a BEAR see...

LMAO you guys crack me up :D

If you guys came to my gym, you'd see. Not a lot of swole strong guys like you all here :)

I see a lot of jumping around and crossfit there etc. Chalk isn't "allowed" at our gym, I've heard of a guy getting banned for using it (he got warned and still kept using). I was a chalk virgin until yesterday lol, first time!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone deadlift more than 6 plates aside from yesterday.
Never seen a woman bench more than just the bar with 20 lbs or squat over 135 there.

Any of you have gym buddies who constantly bail? I workout with my best friend sometimes, she wants me to "help" her lift. Sleeps in and "accidentally" misses the workout almost every other time lol. Then apologizes a few times and begs to workout again together. Usually ditches when we're doing upper body. But still fun to workout together when she does manage to do it. Just found it funny how its the opposite of guys who skip leg day haha.

Yep, I'd have to find a replacement friend in a heartbeat if they skipped out on upper body days. Leg days I get, lol. Different strokes for different genders, I guess!

I've had gym buddies that were flakes but not for long, if you want to train with me then you have to have your own drive to go cause I'm going with or without you doesn't matter to me. I'm not someone's motivator and when they ask me "hey can I work out with you I need someone there to give me the motivation to go" I always tell them that if they don't have something more motivating then just letting a friend down that they didn't show up then they'll just quit once it gets hard and I don't waste my time with quitters anymore. Once upon a time I was nice but you gotta be savage sometimes even with friends.

I've yet to ever have a long-term term gym partner that actually was reliable for any length of time.

My gym is full of mediocre lifters, too. I'm actually impressed to see a four plate deadlift out of anyone.

Unreliable gym partners, guys wearing gloves and using squat pads, guys flexing in the mirrors, curling in the squat rack, etc.. are all reasons why I built my own gym at home.

Now the only idiot I have to worry about when training is myself!
