Long term nolva use with trt

Wondering if anyone has experience with long term nolva use to keep gyno at bay while on trt? 47 years old, about a decade on trt. Glands get tender and hard on 150mg test a week with adex keeping e2 at the low range of normal. Adex also gives me tendonitis so even if it did work for the gyno, which is doesn't, it's not a good option for me.

I've contemplated the surgery but really don't want to deal with the recovery time if I don't have to. Nolva clears up my gyno every time and keeps it gone until I come off. Slowly but surely it eventually comes back. What if I stayed on a low dose of nolva (like 2.5mg a day) long term? Anyone doing this?

Don't. If you want to get rid of gyno in the long run, you should really consider surgery, which is covered by insurance and takes no more than 1 hour, rather than using toxic drugs.

I've done one a few years ago, and this is the best decision of my life.

I've heard that sentiment from a couple guys IRL.

Bizarrely, with slightly high
~normal E2, I decided to experiment with 6.25mg Aromasin 2x week, and long standing gyno (near invisible but I could feel it), shrunk, and disappeared.

Yeah knew that would be the answer. Sounds horrible though. Money has zero to do with it for me, recovery from surgery sucks. My girl had lipo and recovery was brutal. But yeah unless I get some solid feedback on using nolva as a long term ai I guess I'll have to deal with the surgery eventually.

It would be interesting to see if the low dose of nolva you’re suggesting would work. I wouldn’t do it forever, but I also wouldn’t expect major issues by trying that out for a number of months; considering you know you respond to it well.

Endos prescribed me 20mg a day for 6 months before other involved practitioners were willing to settle on surgery as an option for the gyno I had since my teenage years. (That might be the difference between yourself and I, since I wasn’t on trt or anything) As I anticipated, it didn’t do anything to treat my long standing gyno. On the other hand I had no sides from nolva use that long.

Next piece I can add from my experience; surgery recovery does take time, but isn’t too bad. Years later it will be just a blip in time that will ultimately feel irrelevant.
