My opinion of all of this, after thinking on it and seeing it all play out is this:

Let the clients determine Mac’s worth. They have already paid -presumably- and are in the early stages of the process. Let Mac devote his time and efforts into giving them the highest quality content he can, then we can judge his worth based on their results. At some point we’re just becoming the snake eating it’s own tail here, guys.
