My old training partner had his bachelors of science in Kinesiology. Comparatively, I have no formal education outside of a high school diploma (yeah, I know, but I'm fixing this soon).
Despite this, I was the one leading the training, every single aspect of it, his job was to just execute what I had planned and give feedback so things could be adjusted on the fly as needed.
My point is, he had far more "credibility" than me. But, if he was leading the training and not myself, he would not have added 35-40lbs of BW within 4-6 months and been Incline benching 315 on his first cycle.
The human body is not a finely engineered Swiss watch, it's an imperfect biological entity that operates within ranges and normalities. You don't need 4 years of school and a TI-82 graphing calculator to manipulate it, you need practical experience foremost.
Something to think about ツ
On an unrelated note thought I would mention I am still working with
@MacBuilt and things are going excellent so far, I believe we are on week 12. Off-season blast started almost 8 weeks ago. Up 14lbs from start of blast. VERY mild amount of gear as well. I will be continuing with his services for another 3 months when the time comes to re-up in a couple weeks.
