you could easily make an argument, that it does in fact have something to do with real marijuana, if people are using these drugs as a legal alternative because of draconian drug laws towards marijuana.
as far as I know, you can actually overdose on synthetic "cannabinoids", and I think ive done it myself. although, im still here. some are to be dosed in very small amounts, if at all.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are not like huffing paint, although I have no real experience huffing paint.
everything is a chemical. including steroids. there aren't too many "naturally" occurring steroids, I can think of two most commonly used. everything else is a "chemical" made in a lab.
the article dosent mention what "cannabinoids" were found. but having used a dozen or so synthetic "cannabinoids" I can attest to the fact that "some synthetic 'cannabinoids' are relatively well tolerated." as it says in the article.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are almost like prohormones, or "prohormones". when the real thing is made illegal, people look for another way. and they've found it. drug laws don't seem to slow that down. so imho, this problem is because of drug laws.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are almost like sarms in that they don't have the same classical structure. they have a functional group which interacts with a receptor. in this case, a cannabinoid receptor. there are cannabinoid receptors in the brain, and throughout the body. which is why some strains of marijuana are grown for more cbd and others for more thc. body and brain. I know for a fact that some synthetic "cannabinoids" have been developed by drug companies with therapeutic purposes in mind. but you cant patent marijuana. but im glad ive found some these "cannabinoids". they were some of the most intense drug experiences ive had yet. Id like to have more but how high can you go?
anyone really interested should really look into a drugs forum where they discuss these things like steroids are here. practically and scientifically.
to me its all the same thing. just pieces to a puzzle.
or something.
This is the problem, people think that because it is an alternative to using marijuana that it should be compared to/ classified with marijuana. This isn't the case.
If someone can't get there hands on injectable steroids so they settle for some bull shit pro hormones and trash their liver and get gyno, does this mean pro hormones should be compared to steroids? To me it doesn't. It's the same with spice. People smoke it for different reasons, job drug testing, no pot dealer etc etc. doesn't mean it's the same.
Bottom line is this. Real marijuana grows in the ground. You can plant it, pluck it and smoke it and get high. It also has countless healing properties not to mention being a stress reliever and an anti depressant. Spice is made in a lab and sprayed onto a weed using a spray bottle full of who knows what. I myself have smoked spice before when I had a job in the oil field that did regular drug testing. I experienced internal bleeding and exteme memory loss to the point I couldn't remember shit that happened the day before. Real marijuana doesn't do this.
No one has ever died from smoking too many joints bro
