The worst that can happen to you for committing a nonviolent marijuana crime, around the World
http://mises.ca/posts/blog/the-wors...-nonviolent-marijuana-crime-around-the-world/

Everyone knows different countries treat drugs differently. For example, if you get caught buying or selling a large amount of marijuana in Canada, you’re probably not going to get your head chopped off by the government–but in Saudi Arabia, that is the law.

I wanted to see just how different the laws were in world when it came to nonviolent marijuana crimes: that is, if one or more people are breaking a marijuana-related crime (like buying, selling, smoking, or producing) and they didn’t hurt anyone in the process, what is the worst that can legally happen to them?

So here are the results. Remember, this is a map of the maximum punishment you can receive for nonviolent marijuana offences. So if you are a nonviolent producer, seller, user, distributor, importer or exporter:

Red countries will (potentially) kill you if you commit certain marijuana crimes (usually heavy trafficking, but sometimes repeat minor offenders are also executed);

Green countries will (potentially) throw you in prison for at least 20 years for committing certain nonviolent marijuana crimes;

Orange countries will (potentially) imprison you for some period of time less than 20 years for committing certain nonviolent marijuana crimes.

Synthetic cannabis deaths sound alarms in Australia
http://news.sciencemag.org/biology/2015/01/synthetic-cannabis-deaths-sound-alarms-australia

The deaths of two men—one yesterday and one today—and a rash of recent hospitalizations in Australia, all suspected to result from the use of synthetic cannabis, are focusing attention on a growing worldwide problem.

Drug users have been embracing products touted as producing a natural marijuanalike high. The effect is produced by synthetic compounds designed to mimic THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, which are sprayed onto plant material then often marketed as "Spice." However, "synthetic cannabinoids certainly have the potential to be significantly more dangerous than the natural plant material that they supposedly mimic," says David Caldicott, an emergency medical doctor at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Brothers I got busted in the worst possible state to get popped in, and the mother fuckers couldn't make it stick.

To me it absolutely crazy to prohibit marijuana, and I don't even smoke any more

Fuck this country until it develops a sense of wrong or right. I mean the assholes of America that run this fucking catastrophe. Not my bros.

I don't even believe this story. just like the guy that ate the other guys face was suppose to be on bath salts, but he came back clean of bath salts.

That spice shit will kill you eventually if you smoke enough.. If you're smoking that you may as well be huffing paint it's just chemicals.

With that being said it has nothing to do with real marijuana at all. One is a plant that grows in the ground the other is chemicals made in a lab.

High times
The American marijuana industry is maturing
http://www.economist.com/news/business/21639574-american-marijuana-industry-maturing-high-times

As Colorado celebrated a year of cannabis legalisation, Founders Fund, a venture-capital firm with $2 billion in assets that backed Facebook, has announced an investment in Privateer Holdings, a marijuana outfit behind names such as Leafly and [Bob] Marley Natural. Four states and Washington, DC, have now legalised recreational weed. A further 21 allow medical consumption under differing restrictions. Legal recreational and medical sales amounted to $2.6 billion last year, most of them in California and Colorado. That is just 6% of the estimated $40 billion still going to criminals (over $200 billion a year is spent on tobacco and alcohol). Cannabis venture capital was a tiny $104m in 2014 and opportunities remain limited because of federal restrictions. Full legalisation is perhaps five to ten years away. But investors beware: when it comes, the price of weed may fall.

you could easily make an argument, that it does in fact have something to do with real marijuana, if people are using these drugs as a legal alternative because of draconian drug laws towards marijuana.
as far as I know, you can actually overdose on synthetic "cannabinoids", and I think ive done it myself. although, im still here. some are to be dosed in very small amounts, if at all.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are not like huffing paint, although I have no real experience huffing paint.
everything is a chemical. including steroids. there aren't too many "naturally" occurring steroids, I can think of two most commonly used. everything else is a "chemical" made in a lab.
the article dosent mention what "cannabinoids" were found. but having used a dozen or so synthetic "cannabinoids" I can attest to the fact that "some synthetic 'cannabinoids' are relatively well tolerated." as it says in the article.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are almost like prohormones, or "prohormones". when the real thing is made illegal, people look for another way. and they've found it. drug laws don't seem to slow that down. so imho, this problem is because of drug laws.
synthetic "cannabinoids" are almost like sarms in that they don't have the same classical structure. they have a functional group which interacts with a receptor. in this case, a cannabinoid receptor. there are cannabinoid receptors in the brain, and throughout the body. which is why some strains of marijuana are grown for more cbd and others for more thc. body and brain. I know for a fact that some synthetic "cannabinoids" have been developed by drug companies with therapeutic purposes in mind. but you cant patent marijuana. but im glad ive found some these "cannabinoids". they were some of the most intense drug experiences ive had yet. Id like to have more but how high can you go?
anyone really interested should really look into a drugs forum where they discuss these things like steroids are here. practically and scientifically.
to me its all the same thing. just pieces to a puzzle.
or something.

I live in Ontario Canada and have been caught by the police with Weed in my possession twice now. Both times under a OZ. They simply took my weed and let me go without a ticket. My vehicle got searched once but the didnt find any more so the cop let me go. i was with my buddy who got caught with over and OZ and scale in his truck and they just wrote him a ticket for speeding. I think most of the police in my area are pretty lenient when it comes to marijuana.
I am a believer in smoking both pre and post workout. If you are worried about the effects on your lungs get a dabbing rig and smoke absolute shatter... you only need one small hoot! i rarelly smoke weed these days. Smoking butter and eating medicated candies or chocolate bars is the future!
