Marijuana [Cannabis]

Medium? You mean what I am going to grow in? As in soil?

This set up was given to use.... It's pretty small... I'll report back after I get starter indica (thank you for suggestion) plants.

Any growers out there? I can legally grow with my medical card (even though theres no card)....So I decided to give it a go.

I'll get starter plants from one of the medical dispensaries that I go to. Hopefully in few months I can enjoy the fruits of my labor or how ever that saying goes.

Dude...i want to grow some of ghost.... I like the set up you have..keep us posted please

You have to start somewhere.
To be honest it's a pretty small space that your working with.
You might want to consider only growing three plants. Whether or not you want to top them is up to you, but if you do you will be dealing with a lot of fan leaves and branches. Which will means the under belly of the plant will be unable to develop considering your only running two 90 watt led's.

I also recommend that you grow pure indica or indica saliva hybrids.
Most pure sativas will take longer to mature and also need more space as they naturally grow taller.

What medium do you plan to grow in?

From your sentence structure your well versed in that area....

Class is in session.....

Anyone here use the Pax Vaporizer on the regular? If so what are your thoughts, worth the $300 or no?

My wife has one. We don't think it's worth it. In order for it to work properly, you have to clean it very often otherwise the mouth piece won't pop out. Gets stuck from resin build up.

The bowl doesn't vape evenly. So you have to vape few times, then flip/mix up the bowl.

Update: 4 new additions to my family. We just adopted 2 cherry pies and 2 true og. Cost $72 for 4.

Gonna leave them in current pot until this weekend and then transfer to 5 gallon buckets. Will use organic soil.

Gonna keep our new babies warm with 18 hrs on and 6 hrs off for not sure how long yet. I'll continue to research and change lighting as needed.

Don't rush the transfer. Let them get healthy, from the look of them they could go another three weeks in those.

What are you putting them in? Fox farms was supposed to be shitty, but it always grew good plants for me, with extra worm castings. Subcool method is good too.

Learn how to clone if you can dedicate a small veg room. Worth it. Once you get a mother selected and vegged out, your room setup possibilities get more fun.

Look into screens (SCROG) for those LEDs. Only a few plants, but will be very productive.

EDIT: get a small oscillation fan for the room. And I don't see a carbon filter, plans for one? You won't need much exhaust power with those LEDs. 4" I would imagine, but I used to run HID, so not sure.

EDIT 2:
Go 24hr with your veg. Faster, denser plants.

And if you do switch them to 24hr, keep note of your morning time currently at 18/6. Use that same morning time when you flip to 12/12.

Personally, I think that might be bro science, lol. But I would hate to steer you wrong if you listen.

Thank you for advice. I was just gonna use 5 gallon buckets and organic soil. I'll check out fox farms and screens for led.

We (wifey and I) would love to clone in future.

Since my area can zipper up, should I do that and out fan inside?

HID are expensive, maybe down the road after few cycles.

I'll look into carbon filters......I didn't even think about that.

I need seeds....

Dispencery that I goto sells packs of 12, not sure on cost but I guess it doesn't do you any good. Pm me.

Another thank you for suggestion.

It's kinda cool how excited my 5yr son is about these Plants. He has no clue what they are and I am gonna keep it that way. I might ban him from that room.

Yea that's bro science.:)

If you anybody is low on space the zip tents work great for small spaces.
Here is a good choice for your lighting needs.

I also suggest a simple soilless mix consisting of 75% coco coir and 25% perlite. I also recommend that you grow in fabric/cloth pots as help the plants aerate and drain more evenly.

Whether or not you and growing hydro or hand watering controlling the PH and feeding and flushing of the plants is one of the most important aspects.

Get a good ph meter and learn how to use it. This is good local company out of Colorado that supplies nutrients.
