Marijuana [Cannabis]

I heard that you actually want to water the plants from the bottom of the plant, instead of on top of the soil. So the roots grow down more(reaching for the water). I didn't think this was right. The person I am with is convinced this is a better method. You ever hear of this method?

use the PH tester before you water.

the roots are going to fill up your small pots, regardless how you water top or bottom. they will look root locked and they probably will be root locked too.

Yes . Its an endless cycle , although some question the potency after several dozen repeat clonings . I try to go back to seed after about a dozen repeat cloning generationsView attachment 36731 .
Im on 5th generation with these here in the Veg Room .
(4 week clones after rootings)
(Bud room next week)

Are you using the LED lights in this room? the 300w LEW?

@Oregongearhead , @Docd187123 , @D-Ballin , @Nutpuncher

I don't believe I can use Forfarms soil. Is there any other organic soil I can use?

I bought these lights
2PC 300W IR Full Spectrum LED Grow Light Panel Medical Indoor Plants Veg Flower
There are 2, 300 watts. Are these good?

How many plants can I get under this light, I am talking, full grown plants?

Started flowering (12 hr on / 12 hr off). Plants looking good. Clones also thriving. I lost 4 out 30+.

Building carbon filter system today. I am so surprised how fucking big and heavy the carbon filter is.

I am sort of confused with the way the LED work. You can you use them for all plant types, Clones, veg plants, and flowering.

Also some LED's have a switch to turn off the infrared or the UV. Does yours? Or is it a LED with both UV and IR,(no changing switch, just full spectrum) going for veg stage and flower stage.

This is the soil that I use Roots Organic Potting Soil

I have 2 G8 LED. 1 in flowering tent along with a UFO LED (called ufo because looks like one). And other G8 in vegging tent.
Bing.

Flowering tent has 4 plants but I feel comfortable up to 6 plants. Vegging tent had about 25+ clones (cluster fuck).

Trust me I have been researching for 3 years. Some answers are just not there.

The G8 LED is supposed to be for vegging and flowering. There is only on off switch. They do make flowering only LED and vegging only LED, but are lower cost.

I hope my G8 will work for both stages.

Just like AAS, never ending research lol.

So far, my wife and I have spent:
$620 - 2 G8 LED
$220 - carbon filter and fan
$25 (so far) - supplies for installing filter
$80 - 5 starter plants
$200 - nutrients and clone dome and root plugs
$30 - buckets

I got both tents donated from a buddy other wise that would have been few hundreds.

Good investment, but payoff is eventually we never have to spend $ on marijuana products (about $200 month)

Im putting one 300w LED on each side of my 1000hps for a total of 1600 watts of multi-colored light . Should take buds to the next level .

Its Bodybuilding for Buds ;) :D

I am going to use 2 300 w lights for 4-8 plants. I think that is plenty.
I am going to hang the lights 18in" above.

Looks good . That should flow some air...

Thank you. I love building things....gosh I had great time drilling thru the metal flange on the fan.

Oh yea, it's flowing excellent. Right now the exhaust air is just flowing back in same room. It's not as loud as I though. Much quieter than a vacuum.....more like 12" (typical house) fan on high.

I think I'll sleep in front of exhaust to reduce night sweats lol.
