Meso Powerlifting Corner

Man I don't think I'd let mine climb that high even without sides just setting yourself up for future prostate issues.

I sort of fucked up and got the wrong test that didn't surpase 1500. that one would of cost 90 instead of 50 but I fucked up cause that was the whole reason I was taking the mid cycle test. Been reading Pharmacom has been underdosed lately, so I bumped up to a gram of test every week instead of 500mg. and wanted to check where my total is with the test. but as you can see, I fucked that up.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger Doc, They were on sale yesterday for $41.95 during the wrap sale. Sometimes Elite leaves those running for longer than they advertise so I went in and checked after I saw your post and they were $34.95 so I got them for $41 shipped.

Got an email an hour later from Elite advertising amongst other things up to 15% off Iron Rebel products $34.95 from 49.00 is more like 30% off so I went back in and checked and they were $41.95 again. Like $7 makes a big difference. But I felt like this was a good omen for me and these wraps!

I think it's meant to be Masters. You were meant to squat in a pair of Iron Rebels like Donnie Thompson was made to set world records. It's a bond you'll carry for life. Treasure it and may the squatting gods be shining brightly on you come meet day

Update: Not a big three lift but I've been only front squatting while I chase my 600lb+ deadlift. I feel it's a balanced approach for me right now with my goals. Worked up to 375 for some easy doubles tonight. Real clean and controlled atg. My best was 405 earlier this year so that pr is moving up here soon. I'm surprised how much my front squat has improved after mostly neglecting them since March or so.

Im looking for a new workout. Some thing to contrast WC's program, which i really like. Kinda like an A&B thing. I like this guys ^^^program but it looks like alot of damn work. Im looking for a 2 on 1 off thing focused on strength&hypertrophy. Some thing where im training each bodypart only 2x per week max

Boys, I've had 3 weeks out of the gym. . . Not a thing lifted. Wife has been really ill.
She's well enough for me to hit the gym tomorrow... How much will I have lost in 3 weeks?
Should I test my 1 rep maxes or do sets of 5s or what?

Help me out.

Randall.

Definitely don't test 1RM. Sets of 5 is good, maybe reduce by 10% from where you left off and work back up. I doubt you really lost all that much.

The weights will probably feel awkward. make sure you take a little extra time to warm up. I'm sure you'll be fine. The most I took off was two weeks after really intense training for a few months. I was actually slightly stronger when I got back.
Yup
Call it a deload:cool:
I actually broke my FS PR this way after a 3 week deload. Let the training try to submit you. Endure. Rest. Come back stronger.

Id do about twice as much warming up as normal but I have some nagging injuries that get tight with time off:confused:. Always feel stronger after a deload.

A guy i was training until he got put on night shift earlier this year just took a solid month off and hit a bench PR his first or second week back.
I used to love flat benching. When i was a teenager. I was hitting pr's weekly. Wasnt eating right. No idea of nutrition really. Had no idea about anything training related. Except i was strong and interested in getting stronger. Those days were great:oops:
Still got my stretch marks from where i grew so fast. How does a body grow without proper calories and protein? I feel like thats just every ifbb pro that exists. Just there beginner stage never ended.

Yeah, i managed to bench 300+ back when i was young with no training knowledge or plan, no knowledge of nutrition, but i did eat a box of Toaster Strudels and drink a six pack of Ensure every day. Didn't really put much effort into any other lift either.
