It does and doesn't even really feel like you're super deep. With a wide stance back squat I've really gotta work to get deep.

Getting away from the dogma of the BS was crucial for me
I can lift pain free and even ACCEL by leaving BS in the rear view.
I think FS have a ton more of applicable uses as well. The power and motion closely relates to actual movements one may make in alot of sport specific activities.

Yeah, low bar is causing me too many issues. Mainly wrecking my elbows. After this meet I'm going back to front squats with probably some single leg stuff for accessories. High bar when I'm closer to meets.

One of my powerlifting buddies had a hip problem from back squats. I switched him to front squats and now he won't even go back to back squats. Lol

Have you tried SSB? I feel like its very similar movement to Front Squat

The Texas deadlift bar and front squat harness aren't too bad to carry. The EliteFTS yoke bar on the other hand is a huge pain in the ass to carry on 3.
 
Im at 525 on conventional. 600 has been a goal of mine. Also a 500 squat, Im at 450 give or take now
I’ve wanted 600 since before u got injured. I feel I can actually obtain it now.

I lowered my squat weight and started just doing high rep squats. I Hit 505 before I got injured and that was my only squat goal. I don’t compete so they’re not really worth the pain of maxing anymore.
 
Just have to say this: If Eddie Hall were to do a power lifting meet, I believe he’d be the GOAT raw lifter. Anyone care to disagree? i believe he’d have around a 2350-2450 raw total.

I’ve wanted 600 since before u got injured. I feel I can actually obtain it now.

Nope, no goat. top 20 possibly after a few years of switching to powerlifting permanent. while I believe he’s very strong he’s also a suuuuuppper heavy weight. He would have to start pausing those benches, loose the straps/wagon wheels on deadlifts and squat without wraps .
Truth is some dude like Yuri Belkin or Kevin Oak would come along and smoke him at 220. Pl is a weight class sport but Id say Hall is Elite right now walk into any high level meet anywhere and probably place top 5 in his weight
