Yea my shins get busted up regularly.I have my own Texas bar I train with. It's usually my fingers that bleed, like around the middle knuckles. My shins and knees stay bloody.

Sounds like fun!!Any of you newer guys to powerlifting interested in one of those "race to" whatever number threads? Like a 495lb deadlift or 315lb bench or 405lb squat? Adds a little friendly competition. We had a lot of fun with them a few years ago.

I may be down, I honestly do not max though but if I am close enough to where you guys are I may be up for it.What do you think would better? Like 405/315/495 squat/bench/deadlift race? Or individual ones? It's fun when there's a few people at about the same place. A few years ago there were a bunch of us all pretty close on strength. It's very motivating.
