Meso Powerlifting Corner

I didn’t know he did powerlifting too. He really sank that squat deep too
I was thinking that. ATG. I knew he had a nice squat and DL, but I didn’t know he could bench like that. Definitely impressive for an aging strongman.

I took 500 test for 8 weeks and then added in 700 tren for the next 5 weeks, my chest and shoulder lifts are starting to go backwards over the last few weeks and I'm trying to figure out why. Nothing really has changed except for I stopped injecting delts and started injecting quads only 3 weeks ago and my shoulder has started hurting, any ideas? I'm still eating enough to slowly gain weight.

Have you adjusted you calories and macros since you started the cycle?

Could be a number of factors.

first, what esters are you taking? Did you stop taking test and subbed in tren, or did you add tren to the cycle? If you’re on anything other than prop, 8 weeks is barely long enough for the hormone to begin working.

assuming you’re on short esters and you add tren to the cycle, we can break down why you’d be back sliding...

What does your training look like? Volume, frequency and intensity?

Other than nutrition, there’s usually 2 main reasons why a lift would go down—too much heavy training (intensity) or too little of another (volume / frequency) a good rule of thumb is to pick 2 and stick with them for a while.. I.e volume+intensity = less frequent (once a week), intensity+frequency (2+ a week) = much less volume, etc.

Often times new lifters will get excited and over exert themselves on heavy lifts and not have enough time for recovery between training sessions. Another good rule of thumb is to wait at least 72 hrs between training the same body parts (Monday / Thursday

Its 500 test c for 8 weeks and then weeks 9 through 14 500 test c and and 700 tren ace, I know my blast dosing is retarded I just really wanted to hugely PR my bench. My deadlift and squat are gaining fast, though. I feel like it really might be switching from injecting delts and quads to only injecting quads, I know most people would say this probably isn't the case but I feel like it is.

I don't do to well at following a diet except for always having protein digesting in my belly over 4 or 5 meals a day with always 300+ grams of protein while always keeping the scale slowly going up.

I'm trying to go 7 days a week but maybe once every two weeks I miss a day. I do

A:

Bench press 5x5
Overhead press 4x6-8
Dumbell lateral raises 3x8-10

B:

Weighted pull ups 5x5
Dumbbell curls 4x8, then 4x12-15 for hypertrophy
Calf-raises 4x8, then 3x12-15

C:

Squats 5x5
20 min treadmill

D:

Deadlifts 5x5
20 minutes treadmill

So it's like this over a 9 day period

Day 1: A
Day 2: B
Day 3: C
Day 4: A
Day 5: B
Day 6: C
Day 7: A
Day 8: B
Day 9: D
Repeat

I was gaining fine 4 weeks ago doing this 7 days a week so I don't think I'm overdoing the training, plus I don't have to work right now and I get plenty of rest. I was gaining so good off of 500 test c and I didn't really get the strength boost I was hoping for when I threw in the 700 tren, I'm running 3 different labs tren and I'm sure they're real, I can feel it, I kind of feel like I'm about to die. My cholesterol and blood pressure are all jacked up but I'm plugging through 3 more weeks and the last 2 vials from the third lab

Sorry this is weird, thank you.

Overtraining, deload and start Back fresh
Yeah, after reading your workout I agree. Fatigue is accumulated so maybe just at this point you have accumulated enough fatigue that your body has said enough. You said yoi dont do well following a diet, but know your protein is 300 plus. The other macros are inportant too. I asked what your macros and calories look like, did you increase your calories and macros as you gained? I gained on my cycle at 3300 cals, then started dropping weight 3 weeks in. Rechecked my tdee and found out eating under maintenance, readjusted calories and started gaining again. On top of deload I am going to also say adjust your diet.

Second point you said you feel lile shit, cholesterol and bp jacked up. Maybe come off cycle now. Your health is not the last little bit you have left.

I'd say lifting seven days a week is at least part of the problem. I haven't went over four days a week since I've been doing gear. That and feeling like shit. I make better gains when I actually feel good.

This is an excellent point. I ran a small dose of tren (250 mg ace) I had to increase calories by about 800 just to keep up with that shit. Can’t imagine 700mg, I’d have to go to a buffet 4 times a day and still eat in between. Tren can definitely make you feel shitty if you don’t feed it.

I'm still gaining weight, though, I've gone from 191lbs to 218, tren seems to be a good bulker for me, doesn't kill my appetite. I'll try to figure out how to change my program to throw some off days in. My squat and deadlift are still gaining awesome, though. I was just doing 245lb for 15 reps with no support equipment 4 and a half weeks ago, then I got knee sleeves and a belt and just hit 355 for 4.

So you’re just stuck on bench?
I can’t see a 5x5 multiple times a week being good for that. Maybe try throwing in heavier doubles and triples every other week and alternate back with the 5x5 or change another variable. Add bands or do a variant
