Meso Powerlifting Corner

I ussed to get levis 560s. Plenty of room in the ass and quads. Now i can't find them anymore and the emo kids have obviously taken over the jeans fad options. Stretchy, goofy shit made to fit 14 year old girls. It is way past ridiculous.

I used to get 560's all the time. Look for 569's now. That is what I'm getting and they fit like 560's used to. I think someone just thought 569 was more subliminal and would sell more jeans than 560 and they made the switch.

Do you have Kohl's stores in Canada? They carry Silver and maybe those others.

Does everyone wear skinny jeans in Canada? There's gotta be some alternative somewhere. Check the stores that sell skateboarding clothes, they tend to wear baggy jeans. They used to anyway.

Skinny jeans are by far the gayest thing I have ever seen straight guys wear. On second thought maybe none of them were straight.

I'm back. A lot has happened in life. Long story. Law. Job. Personal. Didn't make the meet, but I started up sheiko a few weeks ago and Im loving it so far (it is killing me. DLing and benching two times a day).
Welcome back. We kept the thread hot in your brief absence

When I first started it I didn't think much of it, but after cutting all that weight and nearly keeping my lifts the same I'm a believer.

It doesnt look like much on paper, because theres hardly any reps. But it gets you quick. Benching everyday is killing me so far. Im loving it though. Im on a small cal deficit (for me at least 6.5k -> 5k) and im seeing results in my body comp already.

It was great for my body comp, too. I've made some great progress lately, too. Looks like I'm competing at 220 in September, I just found out today there's a couple state records I could take at that weight.

How's your deadlift coming along and what's your weight loss goal?

Deadlift is good so far. Those paused reps are f*cked up. Im following the program to the letter now, so ill see where my results are at the end. Ill try to get a mock meet in.

As far as weight loss. No real goal there. Just a change in bf. Right now theres a noticable change on my face and chest, but my abdomin is progressing slower.

Wait till you do the double paused deadlifts.

How many notifications did you have when you logged on here for the first time back?

Damn man, state records at 220. I've looked mine up and that is one fucking strong weight class. As the weight classes go up from there the differences in lifts arent as huge. It's like for most guys to add another 50 lbs to a lift they have to gain another 40. Not exact but u get the idea, but basically the guys at 220 in my state are some of the strongest lb for lb.

For this particular fed and my state the bench and deadlift are going to be no problem. Squat is well out of reach for now though. The 242 lifts are all significantly out of reach, so I guess the 220 just hasn't really been hit super hard yet.

Oh I wasn't down playing your skills, youre a strong mofo. I'm shooting to match your deadlifts but I'll prob gain another 10lbs in the process making it null haha

It's all good, I didn't take it that way. I'd never bothered to even check the records until today because I figured they'd be ridiculous.

Already had em once. People in the gym thought I was getting stuck. And my pauses got quicker the higher the weight.

I actually only had 94. Figured it would be more. And most of them were just likes and super old stuff from new guys

I've had people think the same thing.

Little update bro's: Nova's almost a man.

Hit a bench PR today: 245x2. Got full chest to lockout on the first rep, didn't make chest on the second. Couple inches off... I'm thinking I wanna try for 315 now before I hit a cycle. I'm still natural, minus TRT doses.

BF steadily dropping and still making gains. Was gonna post a side by side, but I'll do that when I update my log.
