Also the Limber 11 routine is amazing for mobility to hit depth on squats. I highly recommend it.

I realize I'm significantly younger then you J but I was told I'd never be able to lift weights at one point and that I wouldn't be able to touch my toes again or bend properly but after a lot of stretching and regular yoga (lots of attractive girls in yoga classes just saying and a lot of the time the instructors look like @Devika ) I gained the flexibility I needed and then some. Just took a while and I had to treat flexibility as if it was in itself an actual workout and have a plan and goals of what I wanted to do, my starting goal after the injury was to be able to bend over straight legged and touch my knees... My current goal is now to be able to do hurdle splits cold so that's how far I've come.
The knees though I do get that and I get that years in your line of work might be a bit hard on them but don't let flexibility be the reason to stop you from squatting and like Perrin said even if you become a push/pull guy still work on your squats because quads play a roll in both deadlift and bench when done correctly
Im still working it. Just thinking ahead. The physical therapist has me doing 2 days of "power" stretching and 2 days of yoga a week. Its embarassing how flexible Im not. I havent stretched regularly since I was 180, and I just hit 250 last week
Shit you got to 250 congratz man! That was eluding you for a bit there eh. Ya I definitely break the typical stereotype on this one being 5'8 200lb now and doing the splits I get some odd looks for sure
how much tren were you using that made you feel that shitty?Yea. Its crazy. Im on a mild cruise / cycle and eating less. Once I dropped the tren the weight came quick.
On a side note: Im one and done with the tren. I only did one vial and Ill never touch it again. I thought superdrol was bad, but tren had me feeling like death was coming.

oh. Well that's a decent amount. I'm planning to try 175/wk for my first time with it. I'm desperately trying to avoid negative mental sides for my first time and find where my threshold is.Only 400mg/wk
Yea. Im a pussy. It was one that came up over on anaboliclabs. But still.
I was also doing a gram of test, 600mg EQ, and 12.5 mg/day of sdrol. So the combo didnt help.

Exactly. I'm not willing to ruin my personal relationships for some body recomp. If 175 works well without sides then maybe I'd up it to ~250 next time.I had a bottle given to me awhile back and if/when I decide to try it I'm going to do something similar. I've had very bad reactions to a few street and prescription drugs in the past in terms of mental sides and I prefer to be cautious these days.

That's good to know. I doubt I'll be a dick on it cause I'm always happy and calm and have a lot of self control, but I won't know for sure til I try it obviously. So I want to be cautous.I started out with tren e at 350mg ew which was a mistake because I didn't realize it would trigger my youth insomnia again. But since then I did tren A at 525mg ew and currently on tren e 600mg (hasn't kicked in yet) everyone handles tren a bit different but for myself there's no way it would wreck a relationship it makes me happier and more outgoing no negative emotional sides, my only sides are sleep issues and not being able to eat as much as I want easily.
That all being said this will also be my final run with tren, the strength gainz are great but I don't want to become a full on insomniac again for half the year. Test EQ dbol for bulking and test mast var for cutting after this cycle is done

Question for my fellow PL'ers (especially @Masters Power):
Short background:
As we all know I stress off my squats and getting low enough. I had a major back injury many years ago and some knees that have gotten progressively worse.
Because of my job I have access to a personal trainer and physical therapist who Ive been working with on form and flexibility lately. While Im getting better, the PT says I may never be able to get as low as I want to.
I still want to compete, but it may end up just being bench and DL.
So FINALLY to my question:
How should I change my training? Should I keep it the same (because I do like squats) or change it to focus less on squats and more on DL?
I have a friend who had BOTH knees replaced and he's one of the strongest squatters I know. He's definitely a freak and an outlier but it can be done.
I'm officially a member of the 4 plate deadlift club today. Never thought I'd be able to pick up this much weight in my 40's. Getting to 5 might take a little bit.
