My journey from permabulk to get jacked

Amazing weight loss bro, and in for this log!

Looking forward to seeing the continued progress. Keep up the great work brother

Thanks a lot brother for the positive vibes and for keeping up with my journey!

I know I'm kinda late to the party age wise but i also know there's no point to push things fast with gear n stuff. So i'm just gonna ride the wave and enjoy the process which I'll admit so far it has me very very excited haha.

Cheers man.

Wouldn't say late to the game, there's 50 year Olds that look better than me

I think as long as your test levels are high, and you maybe incorporate some hgh into the mix down the road, age becomes relatively meaningless if your test and IGF-1 levels are high.

Time in does influence muscle maturity though, but this has less to do with age and more do do with consistently training for years or decades

But you have a lot to be proud of man. Those results are fantastic. I'm sure that's a major confidence booster too losing that much weight and just makes you even more motivated to keep going

Oh yeah, there's no argument here i meant kinda late to the enhanced party, after 19 years of natty lifting and 35yo to start gear.

There's definitely pros and cons on that, healthwise it's probably better i didn't start in my 20's but in my 36 now i have less "room" to experiment with gear to supplement my growth.

10 years back i'd be chasing 275 with abs showing, probably repping 5 plate bench 6 plate squat and 7 plate deads. I'd be one step closer to my herniated disc and torn rotator cuff though lol

But yeah, i think i'm going to experiment a little for the next couple years with stuff like EQ, nandrolone, anadrol etc if my health parameters allow it and then settle with basic stuff like test primo gh.

From my mid cycle mini bloodwork it seems i respond okayish but now i'll have to take a more thorough look at labs probably next week to see what impact had the var on me.

But you have a lot to be proud of man. Those results are fantastic. I'm sure that's a major confidence booster too losing that much weight and just makes you even more motivated to keep going

Of course man, exactly as you say it. After my makeover most people around me saying i look like 10 years younger so for me it's definitely a big win. :)

Hello everyone, i'm 36yo, made some serious mistakes with my physique in the past (thankfully i'm having no health issues from this ATM) and now i decided to take action and change this and i hope i'll never fall back to the same eating disorders that lead me to look like a momma pig.

I've been to sports since i was 13, i started as an athlete to track and field sports and eventually i've became a shot put thrower and discus thrower. I had to put some mass and already at 15 i ended up being somewhat obese and strong kid benching 225 and squatting 275. After i quit all this due to a broken wrist (third time breaking an arm) i started going into the gym and that's how i become obsessed with lifting, not so much with how i look though, my passion was just being there and doing hours of lifting.

I had my ups n downs, i was gaining and losing weight in an unhealthy way since i was a kid, my first real proper cut (and the last one) was in 2011 when i reached 195 pounds around 13-15% bf. From this cut and for the next 10 years i had only bad times with me gaining weight every year (my ex contributed on that big time, thanks ex) and finally around lockdowns i weigh 310 pounds. Still lifting my socks off, eating 4-5 good meals with chicken rice eggs n stuff but almost every night it was a cheat meal for me and i was eating from pizza, burgers to pancakes and ice creams, many times with alcohol involved.

Then my self esteem took a big hit when i had no interest to flirt around, or going naked to the beach or even look myself in the mirror. Then i decided to change.

So, in the last 3 years i've been dieting pretty hard, going from a deficit to maintenance and back again. Last year i decided to pull the trigger and hop on gear after 19 years natty, it was about time..after deciding to not have kids i planned starting with a cruise dose with just testosterone to test the waters and then going once again in a deficit but this time enhanced. Yeah, i know most ppl say to start your first cycle already lean and going to bulk but honestly i was too tired after every cut, i was brainfogged and energy depleted for a long time, my libido was nonexistent and i didn't want to put through all this again as a natty.

Now at late June 2024 i'm ending my first cycle of 16 weeks with 325 Test-150 Primo and added for the end of my cut anavar 2 weeks at 20mg/day and the last 5 weeks at 40mg/day.

So far so good, i'm pleased with my results. I started my cut at 245 and now i weigh 215 at 6'1. It's the lowest i've been in 13 years. My diet was 2300-2400kcal with the exception of one cheat meal a week (burger n fries) which had me at 3400. I started my cut with one cardio session a day and as the time progressed i reached 3 sessions a day. One fasted in the morning, one after workout and one at night. My current state is not the end of my goal, i know i have more fat to lose and i hope next year to achieve a lower bodyfat.

Now i'm planning to cruise on 200 test 8-10 weeks, then do again an aggressive minicut for 4 weeks to lose couple pounds and prime my body for a slight surplus with a new cycle plan. After more than 3 years of going back and forth at deficit and maintenance i think it's time to put some tissue and boost my metabolism.

As you all can see i have a pretty big amount of loose skin mostly in lower abs and side-low tiddies. For the moment i'm not considering lipo or tummy tuck but eventually at some point maybe i'll think about it.

Feel free to comment everything, i have already been a tough judge to myself so if you think you'll hurt my feelings i've probably beat you to it.

So guys, i've just pulled some labs to see how my cycle affected the main (i've not tested all of them since i pay out of pocket for everything) health markers.

Generally i'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I would like to see a better HbA1c since i was in deficit for so long and my diet was pretty good. Although the biggest difference in HbA1c for me was in cruise when i was using berberine and manage to get it down from 5,5 i think to 5,0. Now i'll have to proceed carefully to surplas and monitor often my insulin sensitivity so i won't get too much sloppy.

Between the pre cycle labs and the latest ones as far as for health supplements the only things i add were 10mg ezetimibe for the lipids from the start of my cycle and 2000mg NAC for the last 7 weeks to protect liver when i added the Anavar.

With both add ons i'm pretty happy, i thought after test primo and var my lipids would take a big hit since they weren't the greatest in the first place and thinking to add a low statin as well but i didn't and now i don't regret it. I will continue using ezetimibe and i believe with test only they'll improve further down the road. I'll consider using a low dose statin in the upcoming blast though since i'm gonna be in surplas and gain weight.

NAC held the liver markers in a good range, i believe anything below 70-80 is a good place to be since these markers take a toll from just working out hard. Most funny part though is my GGT improved significantly, and this one is a major marker for overall liver health. I was worried because i have some thoughts of adding TUDCA as well but i skipped it and thankfully my liver seems it rensponds well.

On blood markers i'm pleased as well, before starting gear in the first place my HCT was borderline low. Now between pre cycle and after cycle my HCT remained the same and this is something i can't whine about it as it gives me more "room" to use compounds like EQ or anadrol in the future without worrying to much about blood thickness and stuff. The only difference i see between pre and post is a raise in platelets, which they're still in range but ideally you afaik you don't want them TOO high because this contributes to blood clots.

I have edited some info to translate it for you.

P.S. I'd expect a bigger TT for 325 test per week. It's almost identical as my pre cycle when i was using 210 test and 500IU HCG M-W-F. It seems HCG raises significant TT and e2 as well.

I would feel dizzy on those readings lol. On my last cut I had to cut down my bo meds in half after my readings came down to where you’re at now.

Great numbers brother.

Haha yeah man it's definitely low and this is my average. I've seen as low as 98/53.

I'm just eating cucumbers with a lot of salt around the day and going heavy on salt and potassium in general with my foods. It doesn't gets higher, but i stopped complaining about low bp, I've seen most of the guys having a hard time get it down to normal numbers so i consider this a blessing.

The only time i had a 125-130 systolic was back when i used to be fat.
