Love the fact your practicing form lady. I'm going thru some form issues with my girl now. She just crossed over from 100% cross fit, to my weight training for 80% of her program. She's pretty top heavy;) so we're having trouble with her pull ups, cable cross overs, etc... Thinking of hiring a coach to avoide injuries.
 
Day 53 (September 2nd, 2016)

CrossFit workout:
Lift: Push Jerk
Warmup w/ bar (35 lbs)
1 x 5 reps @ 55 lbs
1 x 5 reps @ 65 lbs
1 x 5 reps @ 75 lbs
1 x 4 reps @ 80 lbs
1 x 4 reps @ 80 lbs
1 x 2 reps @ 85 lbs
1 x 4 reps @ 80 lbs


WOD: EMOM 12 minutes
Between 3 to 8 reps of Deadlifts (155 lbs)
Between 3 to 8 reps of C2B Pullups

Record total repetitions: 91 reps and ripped hands :/


I did 1 hour of yoga right after the workout. I felt tight everywhere. I’m indecisive if I want to sign up for it. I’m already spending too much money at this box.


Day 54, 55 & 56 (September 3rd – 5th, 2016)

I strongly believe form is very important. I know it's not the same feeling as setting a new PR but practicing good form will not create bad habits and it will get you to your PRs faster.
 
Day 57 (September 6th, 2016)
Time to decrease the dosage from 15mg/day to 10mg/day as my cycle is getting close to the end.

Lift: Push Press
-Warmup w/ the bar (45 lbs)
-1 set x 5 reps @ 65 lbs
-1 set x 5 reps @ 75 lbs
-1 set x 5 reps @ 80 lbs
-1 set x 5 reps @ 85 lbs

Box jumps
-3 sets x 14 jumps (20”)

Practiced handstand walks


CrossFit workout:
I practiced doing the clean movement for 1 hour. My coach said I was cleaning 115 lbs like it was nothing. He said I need to add more weight next time :)

-1 x 4 reps @ 35 lbs (bar)
-1 x 4 reps @ 40 lbs
-1 x 3 reps @ 45 lbs
-1 x 3 reps @ 55 lbs
-1 x 2 reps @ 60 lbs
-1 x 2 reps @ 65 lbs
-1 x 6 reps @ 55 lbs


WOD: For Time
30 Kettlebell Swings (35#)
40 Burpees
50 Pullups
60 Abmat Situps

Viola! I see a little bit of an improvement. I don't have washboard abs but I'm happy with the turnout thus far.

You've done a nice job evening out the imbalance in your arms, it was quite clear your left side (the non-tattooed one) was dominant, and was much larger than the other. Have you been training each arm independently? Looks like a nice improvement in symmetry.

I tried to get my 16yo daughter to do CrossFit. I even offered to pay for her boyfriend to go with her. He was good to go but she wouldn't. She does workout in the garage and runs 3 days a week.

Hello! Thank you for the compliment. I'm right-handed so my left isn't the dominant one. It could be the angle of the picture or the way my tattoo made my arm look.

Being right handed, your left side could still be larger, although unusual. Nonetheless, they appear much more symmetrical now, which is a good thing.

Hi @johntt44! Does your daughter do any other sports? If so, tell her that CrossFit will improve her performance and her confidence in her sport. She will become stronger and faster. She can also use CrossFit as a stress relief (especially during mid-terms and finals week), promote long term health, look like a total babe in a bikini, build friendships in the community, and become a total badass! You should have her watch videos of the teenage division of the CrossFit Games. I'm sure there are clips on YouTube.

She can bench 80lbs for 3 sets of 12 and do 35 burpees nonstop but it's hit or miss with the schedule. Sometimes it's once a week sometimes it's 3 times in a week.

Sure, I'll just tell my wife it's for "at risk" youth. It's like $120 a month here for CrossFit. My daughter asked to borrow my card to buy 2 bras online last night. When I asked her how much they were, she said "a lot". Thank God my wife is frugal!
 
Day 60 (September 9th, 2016)
No globo gym or CrossFit.


Day 61 (September 10th, 2016)
I went to open gym at my CrossFit box.

I did 1 round for fun:
-7 reps KB front rack squats (35#)
-7 reps barbell push press (75 lbs)
-14 box jumps (20”)


And 3 rounds for fun:
-7 reps KB front rack squats (18#)
-7 reps barbell push press (55 lbs)
-14 box jumps (12”)

I also practiced my butterfly pull-ups until I ripped.


Day 62 (September 11th, 2016)
Indoor rock climbing and bouldering! My grip was tired from practicing butterfly pull-ups the day before but I still had fun.
 
Day 63 (September 12th, 2016)

Lift: Squat Clean
Warmup w/ bar (35 lbs)

Notes:
  • I have been shedding less hair since my dosage decreased.
  • I noticed that I’m coming back to my good ole’ cold blooded self again.
  • The acne on my hamstrings are clearing up! :) Yay!
 
Day 64 (September 13th, 2016)
I wanted to go to globo gym today but I was buried with work today. Thankfully, there is CrossFit I can depend on after my shift.

By the way, this is my final week of my cycle. I have decreased my dosage from 10mg/day to 5mg/day.


CrossFit workout:
I spend an hour practicing the clean & jerk. I was able to clean & jerk 115 lbs tonight.
