@Type-IIx explains the benefits of GLP-1 and GIP agonists like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, as true insulin sensitizing agents. how they are different from other weight loss drugs, and the benefits as partitioning agents for bodybuilders.

I'm sure you've read a lot about Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro for overweight sedentary people in the mainstream media but if you want to read about the use of these drug from a bodybuilding perspective, read on:

I did a 6 week run of tirz only 10 mg in total and I was very impressed, I didn’t change my diet although it did get rid of the little voice that tells me to eat a chocolate bar after my evening meals. The main things I noticed were my bloating disappeared as I’m always pretty low body fat at 10-12% but always was a bit watery or protruding abs and that disappeared. I stopped after the 6 weeks and the bloat came back so I just started again but I’m going to try 2 mg every 5 or 6 days as last time I noticed last time that it worked great days 2-5 after a shot then didn’t notice anything days 6 and 7.

I tried it along with metformin but the 2 together didn’t feel the best.
I'm curious, did you lose weight over those 6 weeks? Or it was mainly an aesthetic difference?

I lost a considerable amount of fat and bloat without the scale really moving, I have been back on again about 3mg per week for past 4 weeks and fat loss has been more extreme with no real weight loss I have got a decent set of abs again, I don’t change my diet, it naturally makes me eat slightly less but maybe 5-800 calories a day less. Overall tirz just has so many benefits for me and I feel better on it without any sides.
