Perrin Aybara's Journey to an Elite Powerlifting Total

Why dont you know? It will alow you to compete in a lower class and have a greater chance to be on the top? ( I have no experience with that so I am learning btly asking lol)

I'm looking soft compared to how I was a few months ago at mid 190's, but I think once I drop the deca and MK 677 and reduce my carbs after the meet I'll drop a lot of water.
Lol you fatty...jk. You got a lot in you now and you should be able to nail the 700lbs at the meet.

If I was like 210lbs I would because they do 24 hour weigh ins and 5% bodyweight wouldn't be bad. Trying to cut almost 10% of my bodyweight I'd be afraid of too much strength loss or possible muscle tears.

Wicked af bro. Have you pulled like 675-680 clean? We're you fresh? 'd say you got it in a couple weeks at most. So f'in cool man...

Yeah, pulled 672bs in competition and 675x1 in the gym before. Pulled a fast 665x2 before that 700x1 today and 645x5 a few weeks ago. This was my first pull over 675lbs.

Have also pulled 730lbs sumo off 3" blocks and 755lbs beltless on a high handle trap bar.

Yeah didn't even realize he was in Sumo Deadlift position until.you said something lol

Yeah, I pull sumo. I've done 600lbs conventional years ago, but haven't trained it regularly in awhile since I'm stronger sumo.

I always hear about the benefit of belt squat, do you think that it is useful? Did it help you reach your deadlift goals?

Yes! I think it's extremely beneficial if you pull sumo. It's very similar to breaking the floor during a sumo pull without involving your lower back, so it can be trained more frequently. 15-30 rep range works really well for me. Glute bridges help a lot as well as working on hip mobility.

Oh mama there is a bear here haahaha. You look great man. A little more size on the chest will probably be useful for bench and aesthetics otherwise you really are looking great. how tall are u? How do you track your calories? last question, you got some calves? :p

Thanks. I'm more triceps and delts on bench, I don't put on a ton of size from it.

Height I'm 5'10".

Calories I use Myfitnesspal to track. I'll figure out my first four meals of the day and then eat the same ones every day till I get sick of it. Dinner we have different stuff most nights and I figure it up on the spot.

Calves look like I don't even lift lol.

Just came back from a chiropractor. Kinda tweaked my lower back on that lockout yesterday. He said it was probably just some inflammation from possibly twisting a bit while locking that deadlift out. I'm only working a couple hours tomorrow and a couple hours Saturday, so worked out well for resting. Gonna test a triple on bench either tomorrow or Wednesday and triple or double on squat either Thursday or Friday. Would like to see around 395x3 on bench and either 470x3 or 485x2 on squat.

Also applied for a job today that would pay around $30/hour. Should hear back in the next two weeks. Would be really awesome if I got it.
