Pretty impressive.3" trap bar block pulls
615x3, 705x3
Workout partner did 765x3 and bent the bar all to hell, so no top set for me. I loaded up 500lbs for conventional and did 500x12, which is actually a conventional rep PR with 500lbs.
Sounds like a strong crew
Pretty impressive.
Nice coveralls...was it cold out there?
Haha, that's a nice spur of the moment feeling and you did nail it. At first glance thought it was a new bench outfit you had on.From yesterday and couldn't post:
High bar squat
415x2, 430x2, 440x2
TnG bench
365x2, 385x2, 395x2
Pretty pleased with squat coming back so quick. No pain so far either. 440lbs moved fast enough I'd say I'm close to a 500lbs max again, this time high bar. Bench didn't really feel that good today, but got it done.
No, I'd gotten dressed for work and then decided to go for a bench PR. It is cold outside though.
@Perrin Aybara those are some sick lifts. Makes me feel insignificant. Definitely motivating though. Hoping to get 455 for ten on conventional soon.
Is your Sumo higher than 585?Can't remember what we did Wednesday.
Today
Conventional deadlift
525x2, 545x2, 565x2, 585x1
Paused bench
315x3, 335x3, 335x3, 335x3, 345x3
Is your Sumo higher than 585?
Man, I wish I could find guys that just take it serious... I don’t even care if they’re strong.Got four guys in our lifting crew now. The one I've been lifting with the longest is mid to high 600's squat, 500lbs bench, and low 600's deadlift at about 320lbs bodyweight. The newest guy is mid to high 500's squat, mid 400's bench, and mid 600's deadlift at 260ish bodyweight. The other guy is mid to high 400's squat, low 300's bench, and mid to high 500's deadlift at 220ish.
My first time ever lifting with other strong people. It's a blast.
Thanks. I have a goal of 405x15 squat, 315x15 bench, and 500x15 deadlift. I've done the deadlift sumo a couple times, but not conventional yet. Have done 315x14 bench recently and haven't attempted the squat yet since squatting 5+ reps sucks.
My conventional deadlift still sucks compared to sumo, but I'm scared of sumo for now because I keep getting hurt doing it. So maybe I'll catch conventional up this time.

So many days I think to myself, “what’s the point? I don’t really wanna go down there today” —having people to be accountable to would definitely help in that department. That’s one aspect I didn’t think of when owning a home gym—nobody is around, so it’s easier to cut out early...even strangers at the gym made my step my game up for some reason lol. It's motivating for sure.
Very true @NovaFlex, I was feeling like this in December. I signed up for a meet and have the reason now... its always been to be stronger and keep active but now a goal too.So many days I think to myself, “what’s the point?
