Damn man, hope you can get some down time to allow recovery
Jease man. God speed
How you feeling today and how did work go for ya?
That's a big drop
Hopefully you're feeling better quickly
At the ER. Just dropped 335lbs from lockout to my chest. Hurts pretty bad. They just said nothing is broken and my lung isn't collapsed. Refused pain meds so I can go to work when I get out of the ER. In a ton of pain at the moment and they're going to send someone with me to unload the truck tonight and I'm just going to ride along the next week and train a new guy.
Just getting off work now. My manager came in to ride with me. I drove and he unloaded the truck. Supposedly got a new guy starting today I'm just gonna ride with and train the rest of the week.
Nothing is broken, but still in pain. Wish I wouldn't have went to the ER now. Thought my lung was collapsed though. Was lying on the gym floor for about ten minutes and couldn't catch my breath. Felt a crack too when the bar hit.
Gonna take the rest of the week off the gym. Wasn't even planning on lifting yesterday, but just went in wearing my work clothes just intending to get a few sets of bench in.
Damn. That’s always been something that pops into my mind. It happens so quick and I’m glad you’re not seriously messed up from it.
How’d you do it? Suicide grip or did the bar just slip out?
I’m sure you don’t have the sense of humor for it right now but…. Ya know, all this stuff started happening when you decided to drop weight, do more cardio, and be generally more healthy.
I hope you’re no longer in pain and everything is on the way to recovery. Sorry to hear about all this.
I hate that shit bro…I’m in the same boat. Our big sales season is may-august (chlorine) so I’ve been doing the 12-14 days every day too. The OT is amazing, but goddamn bro. I slept 14 hrs last night. I’m only hitting the gym sporadically, when I feel I can actually do it without dying. Most likely will be out of the gym until the middle of next month. They've stuck me on a shit route and it's a high volume sales event for the next few weeks. 13-14 hours every day. New guy I was training quit after the first day. I was told yesterday I'll be doing this route indefinitely and they'll be trying to find a temp to do my route. Since most quit this route the first day or first week they say they will have to put the next ones on mine since it's easy and I'll have to do this one.
Being compensated for it, but not sure it's worth it to only work and sleep and hate the job. Hopefully when the extra unemployment benefits run out in September people will start wanting to work again.

That’s probably been my biggest blessing—having my gym in my basement. Even when I’m dead tired, I can just go down stairs for a few setsI made it in Monday for some light stuff and Friday also. I'm actually still pretty sore.
Just replied to your thread like exactly the same time lol. Yeah, that's about where I'm at. Any night I actually get off early or have free time the next day I'm just sleeping extra to catch up. I'm planning on getting my home gym stuff from our old place up here to the new house. Maybe can at least knock out some basic stuff on days I don't have time to make it to the gym before work.

How you feeling today? That sure was quite a scary injury.
Great to hear man. Injury like that sure sucks bad and I had the misfortune of straining my left shoulder last week. Felt a pop when trying to go that extra rep and then pain city. Was hard to sleep that night but gentle heat and some advil helped. With some careful stretching I was able to regain much of my ROM in that arm and shoulder. Still feels sore but thankfully didn't tear it.Still a little sore, but way better.
Damn that injury sure set you back. Hang in there man...it was hard for me to bench today even and barely got 135 for 3 and 225 was a no go for me. 275lbs...forget that LOL.Did some light squats today no pain 225lbs for 3x10
Tried bench but was a no go even at 135lbs
Bodyweight dips and neutral grip pull ups
Dumbbell Romanian deadlifts 65's for 3x10
Light accessories
How it going today big man? My shoulder finally got to where I can get somewhere and hopefully 1-3 more weeks it will be back to nearly normal so that I can lift and sleep with little to no pain. I am sure you'll bounce back too!
Bro get ahold of some metformin over the Berberine, if you can. I just started it last week, but what’s it’s supposed to do is amazing with GH. Luckily for me, a majority of my family are obese / diabetic, so I’m just handed the shit.Still pretty sore in the ribs, especially waking up. Talked to a physical therapist at my gym and he said healing could take 4-8 weeks to totally get back.
Picked up a few hundred units of HGH to help with healing and for the body composition benefits. Last time I was majorly injured turned into my best cut ever, so looking to repeat that. If work lets up anyway.
I've said several times in the past I was going to focus on hypertrophy for awhile and never followed through with it, but gonna give it a real effort this time after cutting some fat. In the past was easier to justify being higher BF% when benching 440lbs and pulling 700lbs, but no excuse now that I'm probably only at 85-90% of that on a good day.
Also picked up a little berberine to run with the HGH. Still at 200mg a week of test e at the moment. Haven't been over that since April of last year on the test dose.
Still waking up very sore. Haven't tried to bench since last week, light dumbbell press has been pain free up to 80's at least.
