Ok. Since this thread attracts a lot of vets I ask this question. If you were bulking and had no choice but to take in simpler carbs for the majority of your carbs daily (white bread, white rice, maltodextrin mass gainer, etc) would you actually gain much more fat than if you had more complex carbs? I am hearing mixed answerz on this. Some say that even though your insulin is spiking more it is still in the physiological range as opposed to exogenous insulin shots which do make you fat.
