Primo Cycle

Chest/shoulder/tri hypertrophy. Very tired from the week. I may or may not have done everything in the program. Oh wel. I'd like points for listening to my body. I'm off tomorrow so I look forward to sleep and waking up refreshed. Pin tomorrow also. No changes to sides.
 
Ehh. Like most things adulty it's not very interesting and filled with responsibility and reasons to drink. Bills, job, dad with Alzheimer's, weird family....the usual bullshit.

End of week 5 today. Will pin later. No new or severe sides. Posterior chain day. Had much more energy today. Sleep and not having to work today work miracles. Last week at this time I was ending a rest/deload week so I didn't do any progress pics. This week's aren't phenomenal but it's a marathon not a sprint. Power on. I'll continue this cycle with emphasis On glute-ham.

that book is named "This Perfect Day" on Amazon. Ira Levin also wrote Rosemary' Baby, The Stepford Wives, and The Boys from Brazil, all of which creeped me out when I read them when i was a teen!!

Yes. It's the Fitbit Surge. The one under it is much better looking. In hindsight I would have gotten it vs this one. I don't really need the gps since I don't run anymore. Oh well. I'm wearing it until it rots off my arm.

I thought so. I had the charge HR but then got an apple watch. I'm looking into another Fitbit because for some reason my Apple Watch has been giving me a rash.

Weird. I had a friend who got a rash from the HR. I thought about the Apple Watch. I sold my soul to Mac a long time ago but they gave us fitbits at work (because we have a 40% obesity rate) so I just kept with it. :)

Back/bi day. PR'd DL 235x1. It was heavy but I did it! Only did 1 bicep exercise since the curls aggravate my tennis elbow which is much improved over last week. Must have been an acute injury vs chronic. I can't imagine it getting better so quickly if it was the latter. Chest day tomorrow. Last week was 160 and I'll try for 170 tomorrow.

Congratulations on the deadlift PR Wendy! I think there may be around 10 regular posters on Meso who are our age or older who can truly appreciate how difficult it is to bring your abs to the level you have while approaching 50. The recent hamstring and glute development have very little, if anything, to do with the primo and are instead a result of you really focusing on bringing them up.

You really are doing awesome work and I'm happy for your progress.

I was watching a girl struggling to bench an empty bar the other day and your PR's popped in my mind... really fantastic.
