Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

[emoji23] My wife calls where we go more of a "designer gym". Lots of people more worried about looking good than their workouts. She's calls one guy 5 minute fitness, cuz that's all the longer he's there. Put it this way, it won't be long and I'll be one of the strongest guys there, and I lift like a school girl compared to most of you guys lol.
Time to find a new gym then bud, if you are the strongest guy in a room you've got to find a different room if you want to become stronger. Designer gyms are great and serve a purpose to get fit and get healthy but we are beyond trying to get fit and healthy we want more we want growth we want superhuman strength and you can't get that without some chalk on your hands and the atmosphere that breads intensity

Must go to LA fitness, fucking tools spend more time looking in the mirror fixing their hair than they do pushing weights.... all upper body of course...

Sooo benching was shit today lol.

1. Flat bench was supposed to be 8x3 at 215lb i got 5x3 and then six singles and just couldnt do anymore.

2.incline bench 3x5 135lb
3.cable low to high 4x12 50lb
4.tri pushdown 4x7 180lb
5.front squats 2x12 95lb
6.single leg ext 4x8 100lb (equivalent to 70 at old gym.
7.alt db curls 3x10 25lb

Pretty bummed about the bench, it seems like i greatly overestimated my benching lol...
Rest of the workout was great though and i bought a steak to make myself feel better about the benching ao there's that.

Unfortunately I only have a few options and this is by far the best. Nice thing is the free weight section is almost always empty. I wish there was a more hardcore dungeon style around here, but population is too small for something like that.
 
Those look really good! I'd rock them everyday.

I noticed mine seemed big in the front. Like too long, but the rest fit good. Been thinking about a half size smaller too.

Ayyy thanks man, honestly i wasnt expecting them to look half that good but its exactly what i envisioned.

Yeah ima see how they feel lifting tomorrow and decide, they will take them back and get me a new pair at no cost to me ao if they dont feel right i dont really have any excuse not to.

Man you've compelled me I'm gonna make my own, it's too bad I can't use hakunamatata but I'll find some word that fits
