Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Price the stall mats before you offer to buy any. They're right at $100 a piece where I live.

Already checked that out. They are about $45 a pop for 4 ft wide by 6 ft long. So i should only need one. Whats an olympic bar 7 feet? So i should be good untill in pulling 7+ plates
 
Thats what im screamin. I should not have to do this, shouldnt be an issue. Thats another thing im going to offer to purchase a couple of those industrial horse stall matts they use on farms for a little deadlift section.

I feel like as the only gym in the area they have somewhat of a fuckin obligation to be welcoming to all styles of lifters, not just casual lifters who want to jump on the fucking stairmaster for 10 minutes and do a couple sets of bicep curls.

I dont see how he could say no to this. Its all coming out of my shallow pockets and ot will make the gym better for everyone.

Shit i wish i could get my own setup. The cheapest shit i could find im looking at 5-7 hundred for a cheap power stand, bench, barbell and 4 sets of 45's a set of 25's 2 sets of 10's 1 set of 5's and a set of 2.5's
Fuck 5-7hundo is a steal for all that is pay that for just the plates almost let alone a barbell and bench with Powerrack. I think my set up ended up costing me just shy of 2 grand but ya in your situation id see if you can reason with the owner first and help make the gym better

I mean im talkin bottom of the barrell cheap as i can find plates and bar.not a true power rack but like those 2 piece stand alone racks etc. It would not be quality stuff by any means.


But yeah, i mean i dont see why this guy would say no to this proposal. Doesnt cost him a dime and makes his gym infinitely better AND he has a happy customer. Its the fuckin trifecta.
 
Oh sweet rogue got back to me with a statement saying the bars will be fine with routine maintenance so that should definitely help.

Oh btw @Kakarot i got some of that working hands moisturizer and you were right, stuff is the tits! Only been using for like a day and its definitely helping alleviate the dryness and cracking.

I think it says not to apply to open wounds but pretty sure its because it gives you Wolverine like healing abilities.

Fck that, I've got some good ol first aid training and my procedure for myself is pack it tight with dirt or Cilicia dust, that's the cheap mans quick clot right there. I've used super glue, sand, mashed up leaves anything that you can pack in there tight will be okay the only time you get infections is when you are being a pussy #fact

Good workout. I decided to up the weight on powercleans today because i feel like now its enough weight to where its going to force me to use better form, seems like aound reasoning to me.

Did incline flys again instead of cable low to highs cuz there was two seperate glove wearing retards in the cable area, still there when i left.

What about liquid chalk? I've used it before and its okay, especially in the winter bc it doesn't dry your hands out.
 
If all else fails i'll pick some up and give it a shot haha.
