The SKU is on the outside of packaging (all packaging, no matter the product and this goes for legal item's as well), so that workers are able to see the SKU in the warehouse as they use the SKU system for all their back end services and picking and packing.
It just happens that the SKU can also be helpful to us when we get the product, because the contents isn't labeled.
The systems not changing brother, no matter how much you rage about it, its a non-issue in the grand scheme of things. Just adapt to the system QSC use, or your always free to vote with your $ and spend them elsewhere. Take this as a learning experience and keep the boxes associated with the contents next time.
