Rodgerthat trying to pick heavy things up.

Just added some more fun to my cycle,
I've up my mast e to 800 ew and am going to finish of my vial of tren A (about 4ml worth) and I'm trying to find my sweet spot for TNE so I'll be doing TNE every Saturday in conjunction with my extra mast e shot. Took 100mg TNE about 20mins ago and hitting the gym for heavy deadlift day in 30 mins so we will see how that goes, also I've taken 20mg of cialis 3 hours ago cause it's gonna be another one of those weekends... Everything's going good in the cycle I'm 201lb this morning and leaner by the day, my arms are filling out I guess from actually doing arm work 2x a week as I usually did it 0x every week  but as it sits cold they are 16.5 maybe by the end of cycle I can get them to 18s with a pump on. Also I've dropped my var from 70mg Ed to 50mg Ed to avoid the pumps it was bringing and upped my taurine from 3G Ed to 5g Ed, creatine is 10g ed.

Also pretty happy with how my traps are coming along I've been shrugging eod and it's working I've go that *your on steroids* shoulder look now. Going to start hitting calfs eod aswell even though I've got decent calfs I'm no longer getting DOMs working them and off cycle I get terrible DOMs on calfs so I never work them

Ya so that TNE cialis combo works well...

Deadlift 465 3x3 and an AMRAP of 8!!
For those following that puts my estimated 1rm at the holy 585
Rack pulls 505 3x4
Powercleans 185 4x3
Pull ups BW+35 4x4
Back extensions 4x16
Shrugs 225x20,16,12 135x20,16,12
Straight bar curl 95 4x8
Hammer curl 60 4x8
Concentration curl 30 3x16
Planks and ab work
Long stretch

Pretty psyched on the deadlifts. Will be working on my hip dominate work later too ;)

Are you using straps on those deads?? Lets be honest now...
I recently got rid of them and had to dump a little over 100 pounds off to try and build up my grip strength. Man have I handi capped myself with them.

I want one of these. I saw another guy pick up a 45 plate by just the center...I want to do it.

No the only thing I use straps for are heavy shrugs and heavy rack pulls because my hands feel like cheese graters have attacked them by then. For deadlifting I go double overhand until 365 then hookgrip till 455 and mixed grip from there on out. My grip strength won't ever be the limiting factor of my deadlift I can static hold 495 for 30 seconds

You'll thank yourself for getting rid of them, and i think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you build up grip strength. I used to need straps for 70lb DB rows but now i can do 100's raw no problem.

Dude.. where can I get this setup?????

Had trouble copying the link to paste but I think this is it... Only one I came across. I want one :)

I don't really get the difference between it and plate pinches?

Hub size for one thing. Most plates I see don't even have hubs half the time.

You would be able to build up grip strength with a wider variety of increments also. Instead of moving from pinching a 25 plate to a 35 I could put any amount of weight on it in between.

guess that works ya. Possibly just do that with Dumbbells though my Dumbbells go up in 2.5lb and are that size until 40lb

Do they have a hub to grip it?

I think it was Brandon Lilly that posted a video to Instagram the other day of him lifting a similar apparatus but it was like a Thomas inch dumbbell.

Same here, never failed a deadlift because of grip. My grip is stronger than what I can actually pull, locking it out is the weak point for my conventional deadlift.

I've been slacking on hook grip lately, I just switch from double overhand to mixed.

I use straps on rack pulls because I feel like since it's a trap builder using mixed grip doesn't allow you to engage them both the same. Might not be the case in reality, but I feel like it is. Same for shrugs and traps.

I also use them for snatch grip deadlift. For some reason my grip strength goes to zero when my wrists are at that angle. I can double overhand 405 for reps on regular deadlift, snatch grip I can't hold mid 200's.

That's where my hook grip comes in huge is on snatch grip deadlifts cause your locked it and it's basically off of how much thumb pain you're willing to handle. Ya I use rack pull more for my serratus back and traps then for my lockout, I've only ever one pulled something off the floor and not actually locked it out.

So this deadlift day has me super curious as to what my maxes are going to be come the end of this blast as I'm only 2.5 weeks into the cycle on long esters so nothing's fully kicked in to start with and I have probably 10lb of muscle more by the end. It's also defininetly put a squewe my training maxes considering I'm using 495 for my deadlift and 425 for my squat. The only one slightly accurate would be my bench and even that's probably low balling it. I'm thinking I'm going to do a deadlift and bench 1rm day 4 weeks and 1 day from today to get accurate numbers to work with for the last 8 weeks of the prep and cause curiousity is driving me insane lol

Do a 2RM. It's pretty accurate without going for a true max and all the risks that come with it.
