It was a group of members who were trying to find some way to vet sources so we could have sources accountable to meso members so we didn't have to use boards that were biased in favor of sources.
It looked good on paper but fell short in its application. The realization that it didn't work directly led to the underground we have today. It's not perfect, but it's better than what we had when every source was ran off regardless of how they could potentially serve this community.
