Geometric dilution is nothing but suspending of the compound in the filler/binder. The important part of this operation is getting the filler and compound to a similar particle size since a press is going to be impacting and vibrating and dissimilar particle sizes will settle at different rates and give fluctuating doses. Capping isn’t as demanding in the way of particle size since the mixture is tumbled then spread and packed into the capsules with no vibrating machinery.
