Steroids and drugs but what about the basics? (good old Diet and Training)

We here at meso need to talk more about diet side of things than just take X steroid/drug for X amount of time and see the automatic desired results.

People are too afraid to show that they need some help with diet and training regime and I get it most get flamed by some negative people who say things like you need to learn to diet and train first before touching steroids and yes that is correct, however, there is always something to learn and back to the basics approach works.

We need to stop being afraid to ask, I'm sure there are people that can help and give great advice when it comes to diet and training. After all, we have bodybuilders, powerlifters, athletes (kinda), competitors and just fitness enthusiasts like me that love doing what they do!

If something doesn't work out for you then instead of looking for another steroid/drug or some drastic change to your protocol, look at your diet, ask us for help and same goes with training and lifestyle in general.

For example instead of asking should I take winstrol or anavar to lose some fat, ask the diet question and then fix it up and if you see results you like then you can consider adding in hardener steroid. Realize that steroid cosmetic effect (hardeners in particular) shine the most when you're already pretty lean by average fitness standards a true <16% body fat.

This goes outside of forum too, I frequently get asked by young kids what to take and if I could get them steroids (facepalm)... I tell them about the diet, training and lifestyle they just lose interest quickly. It's not exactly better with adult gym goers, just they are more likely to at least pretend to listen, but then quickly forget all the information anyway.

This should go to all, not only newbies who are starting out and thinking if you wanna be ripped like Stallone in Rambo, you need winstrol or anavar or masteron combined with clenbuterol and t3 and then add in in trenbolone just in case "I don't lose my gains bro".

People think steroids is some kind of magic pill for losing weight or gaining muscle. Just take some roids and if it not working the way you want it to you just up the dose. I think it's crazy people half my size run 2 gram+ of gear or some fat Karen thinking if she'll hop on var the fat will magically melt off.

Not claiming to be big or whatever, but everything starts with nutrition, training and rest. When you have those in check you don't need that much gear to grow.

In my opinion you're bigger and leaner than at least 80% of steroid users. Perhaps we just don't see ourselves like that you know, others notice before you do.

I do think it's crazy how small guys run stupid amounts of gear and 1/4th would yield them +- the same end result, if they put in the work.

So many threads asking about cycle and what to take, yet so few threads disscussing how to optimize diet and training regime.

It's truly sad, but about 70-80% of people in this forum just don't want to accept the fact that they're lazy.

So many questions about how much thyroid meds should he/she take, with no mention of diet and other things. Others taking 1g of testosterone + orals say they lose muscle... while being 190 pounds at 6ft.

The worst thing is that when you point it out to them, they argue and defend themselves, nobody wants to admit being loser.

We all have been losers at one point in our life and the difference between winners and losers, is that losers give up and winner stand up and keep going until they achieve what they want.

Go ahead lay out everything you know about diet and nutrition and training. Might be able to help people that way.

You're right on man but for the most part what I've seen on here is a lot of guys are not receptive to nutrition input. They don't want to listen if it isn't what they want to hear.

They want to do it the easy way. They want to hear that their way of doing it is right even though they're not getting the results they could. They want that balance bs. Or better yet it's yeah my diet is great it's just that I need different steroids

Analysis of different diets, to whom it helps with certain tasks, at different ages, for men and women. Typical questions and answers, it was great if people shared experiences. What products, what ratio of proteins, fats and carbohydrates is necessary on average for different tasks.

They are looking for what they think are simpler ways, in fact, nowhere is easier. Take it, eat normally and exercise, and do not look for a magic pill.

Proper nutrition is a 24/7 endeavor if you’re an extremist like me. Takes me 3min to load my syringe and pop my pre workout orals.

If it were easy, there would be a lot more impressive physiques walking around….

Coincidently, I just started a log outlining my diet, training, PED’s etc if interested!

Proper nutrition or a correct diet based on 24/7 tasks, it seems to me that this is not difficult, but a matter of habit. How to get up at five in the morning is difficult at first, then it becomes familiar and comfortable.

i don't know if it's a case of being too afraid to ask for help. They have no fear asking for a source with their first post.

i believe it's that they have a misunderstanding due to lack of education for what steroids can do and believe that gear will shore up the rest of their failing routine.

Steroids are 25% of the equation. Some believe it's 100%. It's usually not until they fail miserably that they begin to dig for answers and ask questions. That or they say fuck it and give up because the whole idea of this lifestyle was a passing fancy to begin with.

Damn what you are describing about people, many of my friends at first believed in the 100% work of steroids and that nothing more was needed. Then the following happened - the lack of results and health problems. Some of them blamed steroids, some gave up and went into a booze. And in my memory, only two turned to the coach so that he would train them correctly.

Like everything in life hightower. People think they want something but when the going gets tough they quit. Doing gear isnt just pins and pills. It is ai and pct. Time on and time off. Big cycles and cruise. If you arent willing to commit yoursrelf to something just get the fuck out of the way. Most guys here study all the pros and cons before investing a dime. Those guys who quit are better off staying away. Because if you dont take this lifestyle sefiously it will kill you. And even then you have to ask going in if this is worth dying for. There is always chess. No one ever died playing chess.

Thing about it is most people get on steroids because they are already in the gym. So they already have basic training and diet down. Steroids are the unknown so people fear them, I think thats why they get talked about so much especially newbies. Not a lot of people talk about real dosing and dosing regimine. I think this is because a unspoken of liability risk. Imo diet is the most critical, training and gear go hand in hand honestly. Cause lets be honest, even if you arent training optimally if you are on gear you will still look pretty good but you cant out gear or out train a bad diet. You can eat a lot of junk on gear but you have to be on a lot and a majority of your diet still needs to be pristine. Ive seen people on gear who just do body weight shit and look really good. steroids were primarily designed to prevent muscle wasting so it makes building easier and keeping it easier when your on. This is goal dependant tho. The more serious you get the more you have to optimize everything

People do not want to devote time to one thing, a lot of time. They only want to be in the here and now. Any business requires immersion and study. And relying on chance and magic will lead to collapse.

I think people have found in steroids something with which they can replace their shortcomings, mistakes, laziness, lack of proper nutrition, techniques and training systems.

Look around over the last couple decades meso has amassed a weath of knowledge concerning this topic.

Peds and training are just a part of the picture.

Really get to hear what people think and how they are right and everyone else is wrong. But unfortunatly not alowed to play today. Mummy meso says i have to learn to play better.:(

Sometimes sometimes people do not want to go the right and direct way, when you ask and they will tell you everything. And its way of mistakes and pain :). Experience is a good teacher.
