I know some people might say I'm too young, but tbh I based my decision to start cycling on how long I've been training for.
I know it's to late, but you're taking a big chance junior, that your HPTA doesn't restart after you come off of your PCT...then you have to do TRT for the rest of your life...I hope for your sake that doesn't happen...
 
Hey people! Haven't updated this in a while because there hasn't been much to update on. I'm exactly 4 weeks in and up to 181 lbs from 169 lbs.

Although I've gained 12 lbs in the first 4 weeks, visually, I feel as if I don't really look any different (aside from slightly more watery).

Gym performance has been going up. Making slight improvements with every workout adding an extra rep here and there on most exercises. HOWEVER, no crazy changes as of yet & I know I could have achieved these improvements naturally.

I'm fully aware that I'm most likely being impatient haha but when it's your first cycle ever you're really itching to see & feel a difference in your body.

I would like to ask a question & hear opinions from those who have ran test only (cyp/enth) cycles before: How long did it take for you to really see/feel the effects from the test?

OH, almost forgot, no sides yet either!

Usually really kicks in for me around week 4 so you are about to really feel it. I did Test Prop this cycle and felt it within 2 weeks so Test Prop will always be in there for me while I wait for my Test C to "kick in"
I think a lot of what we read online gives us unrealistic expectations of what to feel while on and when it doesn't live up to its expectations we feel like it hasn't kicked in yet even though we are in full force.
I find that when I am off PCT a few weeks later I can really really feel what it is like to be back to natural and is SUCKS, you realize that you felt like superman the whole time you were on but at the time didn't realize it. Next cycle you will be more in tune with your hormones and appreciate the subtle "on" feeling you will get.
 
2.5 weeks in:

Sides: None apart from SEX DRIVE. I thought I was feeling a slight burning sensation in my right nipple yesterday but think I was just being paranoid (will keep an eye on this anyway lol)

Weight: Fluctuated quite a lot and went up very quickly! I was about 168-169 lbs to start and I weighed in this morning at 178 lbs. I'm guessing this rapid weight increase is mainly due to water retention from suddenly adding an extra 1000+ extra calories per day when I started my cycle. Also maybe some water retention from the test itself. I guess this weight gain proves the doubters wrong... I know my body & tdee well so weight gain is easy for me (in other words, please dont tell me that I'm not eating enough haha).

Gym performance: Ever since i started the cycle I've been making improvements every single day in the gym. Find I'm able to add an extra rep or 2 to most sets in my workouts. I mainly put this down to my huge increase in food intake since starting the cycle. Although I have to say I definitely think my test levels are well up there now. Past couple sessions I've had crazy pumps in the gym and a little extra aggression for working out!

Think my test levels are finally getting up in to a supraphysiological dose now and I'm excited to see what the next few weeks will bring! :)

Chiming in to say I'm watching and seeing where this goes. You seem to have great genetics and have obviously put in the hard work in training and nutrition. I can't imagine you not having an incredible physique based on your natty pics.
 
Hi everyone. Thanks for the comments, always appreciate reading them all! To be honest I haven't updated the log in a while because I've been waiting for the feeling of being on cycle to kick in, but I still don't feel as if that's happened yet. Getting paranoid that im just injecting plain old oil but I'll be doing a blood check next week so will be able to see where my test levels are at. I got my gear from a respected lab here in the UK (alphapharma) and the scratch off serial codes checked out fine on their website.

Strength has been going up very slightly on most exercises every workout but nothing crazy. Haven't weighed myself much at all the past week because my scale batteries died but I got some new ones so will weigh in tomorrow morning and update on that! Will take some new progress pics tomorrow too!

Have also had a cold the past week that won't seem to go away so don't know how much thats affecting anything, but I've still been hitting the gym and making sure I'm getting my calories in!

Aside from that there's nothing new to update on. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a test only cycle but I really don't think I feel any different yet compared to when I was training naturally.

Wait until you come off lol.

It’s nothing too drastic but you’ll realize the intensity change once you come off and go back to natty. I think this has to do with the fact that the Test leaves your system quicker than it peaks.
 
I found on my first Test only cycle by week 6-7 my max lifts on the big 3 (squat/dead/bench) all increased by 30-50 pounds . But I also wasn’t as lean as you are .
