The title is clear.

I'm OCD and these training splits I'm not liking 100% so.. I'm wanting some type of program i have stuck in my head. I can't really describe it by name what style it is, but it's not just mine. If someone else has something similar, let me know.

So.. I think I'm going to sit down and write a split on my off day. It will be kind of cutting, but still gaining mass split, and incorporating numerous methods I haven't always used. I gusss mumbo and jumbo I've learned it from or taught myself over the years..

I think I will actually put this one in detail, it's just a 8 week program I'm thinking of.. but you can extend it as needed, shuffle it, or whatever the fuck you want to do with it.

If you disagree with whatever split I'm about to write.. vote no. This is a strictly hands on, no rule book used, and what I have made work.

I will only type it out detailed with a nice layout if enough people want to see it anyways. If you think you could benefit or just want to take a peak vote for it. I'll decide Friday morning or so.

Well since you held out on us and didn't post your last program, I'm definitely voting yes for this.
Just don't spill your fucking Dip all over your laptop this time, mkay?
I've been reading a lot of Christin Thibadeaux (spelling?) training shit from t nation. Insane types of training. Hard to follow. Too smart for my blood.

I like Thibideau's shit... Some of it is just off the wall stupid, but some of its pretty good... Same as Meadows I guess. Different strokes for different folks.

I'll try not to spill dip spit on this one... I'll look into his philosophy, never know what may catch my eye. I feel you can learn from anyone.

On the tnation homepage just do a search for him by author... You'll get all his articles and videos. He likes to "create" new movements, and sometimes you watching a video and just think WTF lol.
But I've done some of his delt and arm complexes and gotten good results, so he does know his stuff

I'm by no means saying the guy can't come up with good programs but the little of his work I've seen left a lot to be desired IIRC.

He breaks things down in a nice tempo scheme. But a lot of his exercises are fuckin weird.
Like this at the top.... 1 Arm Barbell Preacher Curl? Why. Stabilizers? What stabilizers.

Why not a couple months of fullbody work-outs ? Really shocks the muscles and causes the "full body growth factor" where everything grows together . HST or GVT works great , but its brutal and will take you out of your split routine comfort zone (lol)....I like it inbetween regular split-routine work-outs.

Interesting, I'll definitely have to look into his shit now.

Ahh... I now see what you mean. Looks to me like a bunch of shit thrown together to be called "hyperteophic and intensifying"

Oh come on now OGH... You know I can't do those full body shit things. Get real!!

Done plenty of meadows programs, I like them a lot and have learned quite a bit from the man. But, just isn't exactly the idea I had.

...but are you adding weight when you should ?
Most guys that say their program isnt working arent adding weight or intensity enough. And are usually doing way too much volume/way too many sets ...jmo

Oh yeah, none of that is the issue. Just my OCD brother simple as that.

OCD . I got it too , like most of us here . Am I doing enough ? Am I doing it right ? Why dont I look like THAT ! lol .
I need a better routine , I need better gear and I know I need a better diet....it never ends in this game . ...just keep chipping away ;)

You already know. Carry on!

Thibideaus 6 weeks to super hero is fucking stupid hard. I have a home gym so I can do it but the pace he wants you to work up to is god damn crazy. I have tried it twice, and maybe I am just a pussy when it comes to muscle endurance but I gave up after 3 weeks both times. If you can do it and really work toward the 30s rest periods he prescribes then it's a bad ass recomp program.

Now his star complexes and the new book with Paul carter are pretty bad ass. I bodybuilder was pretty good too.

I did the gironda 8x8 and got rest periods down to 15 seconds. Rarely went above 225 though.
Will have to look at this program.
