Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

Im thinking he will invoke executive privilege in an attempt to keep Comey from testifying. :) hello obstruction of justice followed by impeachment and removal from office.

I think he needs a psychological evaluation to determine if he is competent to serve. His conduct suggests he may have early dementia.
You keep thinking that and we're going to start thinking you have early dementia. [emoji6] lol

Kind of hard to believe this kind of stuff considering the corruption behind passing these laws. Some of the things they do in california are off the charts crazy corrupt.
California is bat-shit crazy lol...wish that state would just quietly slide into the ocean!

Single payer in California would grant coverage for everyone and save $37 billion

Study: Single-payer plan would save California $37 billion per year

"...would inevitably be funded through new taxes."

"... Supporters are hoping that the findings of the UMass Amherst study — commissioned by National Nurses United, an umbrella group of SB 562’s main sponsor, the California Nurses Association — convince lawmakers and voters that the average Californian will save money on health care, even if they pay higher taxes."

You know, if you pay higher taxes to make something free, you actually make it more expensive.

Anyway, governments never "save" money. Anything left over at the end of the fiscal year is dubbed a surplus, and promptly funneled to politically favored boondoggles. I have not seen it returned to the taxpayers, ever.

See, thats what liberals never seem to get. The government can't do anything right. It's too busy protecting it's own interest to be concerned about the people. The government fails every single time.

sounds about right. Not sure why we're all here arguing when that is the ultimate truth

A few faithful rightists, like Evan McMullin and Jennifer Rubin, refuse to accept Trump’s incompetence and venality. Will their blogs and tweets force a reckoning?

Not if it's offsetting other expenses...

If - for example - you pay annually $18k for health insurance and it gets replaced by a 15% tax increase on your wage and you make $100k a year, you'll be not only paying $15k (saving $3k) but no deductible, company's, etc

In Italy (where I moved here from 12 years ago) health was funded by 8% on salaries as a burden to the company and 3% on the workers for a total of 11%

Everything is free. Exams, medicines, specialists. No out of pocket

Is it perfect? No. It requires government intervention to limit escalation in drug costs and in negotiating tariffs for exams and procedures. There are sometimes long waiting times for non urgent procedures. You are in a public structure and not spoiled in a single private room

But , being able to afford it, I integrated it with a private insurance so I could get the perks I wanted

And if they can make it work in Italy... [emoji849]

Ny going the same direction as California

Call for Health Care NOW!
Massachusetts has had Romneycare for a while now...and wondering how it is working out for that state.
