Tryout results

OK guys...i did it. Two weeks ago i made it to Clearwater and tried out for the reality baseball show. Fastball was between 85-87, change was diving down and in and slider was better than it was in college (i credit countless reps of forearm curls and hour upon hour of whacking off to help with wrist strength). I won't know anything until the entire tryout process is finished nationwide. Regardless, I am happy I did it. I think 87 is pretty good for a washed up muscle head who hasn't pitched in 9 years. I kind of had a problem reaching past my toes though in the flexibility evaluation. Funny how the conditioning and strength guy (Steve Brown) saw that coming before i ever sat down to try LOL Bastard!

i have been wondering if you were ever going to update us. Give some more details of what you did. Did they have you pitch in live games? Strike some guys out?

they tryout was set up lke this:
2 laps around the complex and then stretchng exercises with a hottie that made sure we could see her meatflaps through her lycra. Next came the flexibilty test...seated with feet flat against a box and legs flat on floor. Reach as far past your toes as possible. I got 4 out of 5 (at least out outweighed the nearest pitcher by 50 lbs of solid fucking mass!!!!!!! Puny ass bastards). I stepped on the mound at 6'1", 270 HAHAHAHAHAHA. Then came the sit-up evaluation. Partner holding feet down, 40 situps in 45 seconds. I did #40 on the 45th second and scored a 5. Yay me! We then had to throw approximately 15 pitches to a catcher in the bullpen. All eyes and TV production camera were on me..probably because they could tell i had a small penis through my tight baseball pants. Anyway, the evaluator was Dennis Rasmussen..an ex major leaguer who was good back in his day. I ended up throwing around 25 pitches. No indication was given at the end of the session as to how we did. We won't hear back from them on final evaluations until after the entire country has had a chance to try out. Next round is on May 2. Till then it's pizza and test!!
 
I think 87 is real good. I threw a ball down the shore once,at one of those stands with the radar gun. I think i got something like 50mph,and i threw my arm out the 1st throw. I was great at tennis though :)
 
Hell by than you can get your flexibility and fastball up. Sounds like a good time

good luck DG. work on the stretching and keep eating as you said. if you make it though, you have to put a "Meso RX" sticker on your ass....since that probably where you stick the needles the most :) .
