The answer is simpleCrazy how insurance, just like everything else, isn't a competitive business. Can you imagine all the business that could be taken if someone jumped in and said "we can offer the same coverage as everyone else,but we'll beat all their rates." Granted, legislation has made that harder, but let's face it... that same legislation was just an OPPORTUNITY for these companies to get greedier.
My rates through work have gone up each year over the bast 5-10... deductibles higher and less achievable. We need less govn intervention in all aspects of our lives, more capitalism
Way too many lobbyist for these insurance companies,that have most of Capitol Hill in their pocket. No bill would be passed that will allow for an open market and take away money from these giants.
The reason it didnt pass is the republicans couldnt agree on everything and the democrats would on agree on nothing. Long story short it was an incomplete bill to begin with

Because it doesn't work like that in the real world. If you haven't realized our country is trillions of dollars in debt, and cops/da could care less about small users. Spending tens of thousands of dollars of tax payers money on building a case for a guy who bought a few vials of test, who at the end of the case with a lawyer gets probation. This is the reality.

Ok, show me real world court cases where they let off a user of steroids if caught. If pulled over with pins, gear and vials, they will say get lost your no dealer? Are you saying they won't shake you down to try to get to the dealer?
