I am not at 15%. I am around 18-19%. I mistyped my original post.Great job on the weight loss but you’re saying you’re 15% bf in this pic ?
Thanks buddy, yeah i fat-fingerd the keyboard I did not mean to put 15%. I am guessing about 18%-19. At least thats what it shows on my renpho scale. I am hoping to be around 10% body fat after losing another 20bls.You're probably in the 17% range. But again there's a lot of skin that needs to shrink down. That'll take awhile. Great job though.
I love these body fat guesses, very uplifting. Maybe I should go get hydrostatically weighed to end the debate. Or caliper tested and find Helga with strong hands to pinch me. At the end of the day, body fat % doesn't actually mean a whole lot. It is about how you look in the mirror. Suffice to say that I have a lot of work to do in order to get back to where I was before becoming a father. For the past 16 years, I have raised the most amazing two boys, i have coached wrestling, football, and baseball in fact i coached over 400 baseball games in the past 11 years (always with my kids on the team). I developed the classic "coach body". I would not trade that time for anything. You are right about the lifestyle changes that need to be made. Now that I have retired from coaching I have refocused on myself. He’s probably 25%+ bodyfat.
I agree tremendous progress but this is not close to 15-17% bodyfat.
And just to be honest if you’re needing to use a glp-1 just to get into a healthy weight range, and you’re still on your way to accomplishing that, using tren should not be anywhere on your radar. You should be prioritizing re learning how to live a healthy lifestyle so that you don’t need to rely on a drug that stops your gastric emptying and kills your appetite in order to eat in a calorie deficit and follow a diet. Once you can adhere to a diet long term on your own, then maybe consider blasting more anabolics. Just my 0.02
Very well could be. My goal is to get to 10%, it may very well be 185 lbs. When i say 10% my goal is to be almost as lean as your profile pick.Agree. My estimation at 5'9 he will need to be around 195 to be at 15%.
Totally agree, its going to be a grind. I am hopeful that my skin will tighten up before next summer. You're probably in the 17% range. But again there's a lot of skin that needs to shrink down. That'll take awhile. Great job though.
Thank you for that. I have run both ozempic and Tirz. Tirz seems to work better for me and is a full appetite eraser. That said, they both work very well. I am not too concerned about my stomach. I do plan to stop taking it when I hit my target weight/BF. When I come off of Tirzepatide I will manage my calories very closely during the transition.I think you’re leaner than your estimate. A lot of loose skin on the stomach. Look at the definition on your delts.
What’s your opinion on tirzepatide vs ozempic?
I ran ozempic at 0.5mg a week with good results but I rebounded pretty quick. Was also scared of the potential permanent paralyzing of the digestive system

I appreciate you taking the time to post on my log. As a little background on me, I grew up in bodybuilding, my dad was a bodybuilder and IFBB judge, he was a significant member of the IFBB Mr, Univers committee before he died in 2005. I have competed as a bodybuilder and powerlifter. I was the head personal trainer at Golds Gym before starting my current job in 2000. I am very adept at dieting and I stepped on stage very lean and dry (lasix dry). So I dont take your thoughts lightly about dieting and lifestyle, i will simply say that from my 30 years of experience in and around competitive sports and bodybuilding, that these new GLP-1 drugs will have the same effect on bodybuilding as did AI when they were first introduced. Yes I can diet without Tirz, done it many times, but boy it is a lot more enjoyable with Tirz than without.
I do agree, it is not time to add anything to my protocol. When I do shift back to gaining muscle, I will do so while staying lean. For me the best time to gain muscle is right after a long cut. I cant wait.
