What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Pulling a nice 6 oz. Sirloin steak out of the fridge to prep. Sides will be spinach salad and 1 cup of brown and wild rice. It's hot so I've been getting plenty of water today. Right on schedule so far.

Also forgot to mention the protein shake that I had before breakfast...


See what happens everytime someone mentions steak around here .....we all get steak-hungry ! :)

Man , I hate centipedes . I was raised in hot Oklahoma as a kid , and we had those huge black/red striped centipedes (5-8 in.) and Emperior scorpions . My grandpa got bit on the big toe by one(scorpion) and it swelled 3x its size . Deadly bitches .....~Ogh

Yep, they are the nasty ones, a grown man can stomp on one and they will just crawl away.
Cut them in half and two of them crawl away.

We have smaller scorpions (bark and wood) mainly, I have not got hit by one but have seen big tough guys act like they are dying from them, there not deadly but have been told it feels like fire in you veins.
 
So the wife is on a health food kick again (only happens in the summer) and she be drinking the almond milk so its almond milk/syntha-6 protein drinks pwo. Not bad together. Got some dungy crabs earlier so fresh from the sea crab for lunch . And my red romaine lettuce salad . ~Ogh
 
Well - Ive been backsliding on my diet -up almost 5lbs since last week . Damn . Gonna have to come up with better diet plan . I cheat at night. Lousy weather so no running or tanning , this summer aint clicking right.....
Cottage cheese + coffee this morning . ~Ogh
 
So here is one of my new favorites with chicken and rice.
Found this yellow curry mix at Whole Foods and it's not bad in fat and sugars.

1 T of the curry
8oz chicken, sliced and chopped (cooked)
1 C brown rice (cooked)
1 bell pepper, chopped
Some red onion, chopped
Green onion, chopped
1 stalk Celery
1/4-1/3 C reduced fat milk (2%,1% or fat free)

Mix the curry and milk together, mix it in a bowl with the rice, bell pepper, celery and onion. Microwave 2-3 minutes. Add chicken. Microwave again 2-3 minutes. Top with green onion and eat!

It's a great flavorizor to good ol chicken and rice. Low fat and high flavor

Dinner was on the road , got a couple lbs of BBQ brisket and been munching on that .....~Ogh
